Week #1 Show Teaser Bollywood North

Synopsis

Celebrate the multiculturalism of Canada without focusing on it. Appeal to a broad viewer base through clever, inclusive & most of all funny comedy. This single camera situation comedy is closer to "30 Rock" than "Little Mosque" in tone. It follows former Bollywood actor Deepal as he tries to manoeuvre through life & career in a new & foreign country, acclimatizing to relative anonymity after being a celebrity back home. What happens when you believe you have a higher status than you actually do? This show may feature an immigrant as its lead but it is not really about a Bollywood actor, It's about what it's like to chase fame in Canada, where "fame" has a completely different meaning

I laughed at the trailer. Hard. I laughed more at this trailer than I ever have during an entire episode of some comedy shows. I wanna see this guy.
