Week #1 Show Teaser Fictions

Fictions Promo

Synopsis

Fictions is a half-hour comedy series about the worst marketing and communication team at a multinational (and possibly evil) corporation, Holter Industries. They’re doing their dream job, only it isn’t everything they thought it would be.

How do you make displacing a tribe sound good?
What do you do with a GPS that threatens your life?
What is that glowing thing in the box?

IT ISN’T MAD MEN. IT ISN’T GLAMOUROUS. IT’S JUST LIFE SELLING LIES.

FICTIONS isn’t your father’s comedy show—though strangely, it is your mother’s comedy show. It’s edgy, irreverent, sometimes surreal, and always funny. It’s a work of love (and headaches), years in the making.

I really dig your guys' banter and think your team has some of the strongest camera presence. My only suggestions it that you KILL THE OWNER OF THE PLAZA THEATRE.

Workplace comedies are always one of my favourites - they are a great way to bring a wide range of characters together and justify it - and I think there is a lot of room to build and grow with this concept!

Alberta love. I loved the psychedelic moment. Sound was a little choppy on my speakers. Im not sure quite what the concept is....

Tried watching this but the sound was really bad. Not sure if it can be a television series but has some potential.

Can't wait to see more of this. I do have to agree that the initial impact of this teaser doesn't quite have the impact that I thought it would. But knowing Leah and the passion she puts into all her works, I hope that this gets green-lit!
