Ca-UTE. I appreciated the LSD sequence, specifically the bear fight. (A throwback to William Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale? Antigonus???)

I watched the video on my laptop with only one headphone in and had no trouble hearing any dialogue. Looking forward to the next mission!

I see what your going for, character development would be cruicial to make the show not come across overly dry. Good luck!!

Yeah I been there. But worried that the theme would be repetitive. Love that style of comedy though. Like I said, I've been there

This pretty much sums up how I feel about camping in the prairies; it sucks ASS unless you have LSD. I thought the cut to Chantelle standing stoically next to that shitty tent falling over was great, as was the moment when everyone dropped their cups of drugged tea (c'mon folks, we've all been there).

I like the video work on your week three submission, but the humour falls flat for me. Interesting though to read other comments and see how others appreciate it. Good luck in the final selection.

Great cinematography. The graphics were a little cheese balls for me but what can you do with no budget right? Well think outside the box. There was a lot of fun to be had with LSD or on LSD for that matter, I think I'm on it right...nooow...

I don't think that I really know what this show is going to be about, per se, but the chemistry between the characters is really working for me. Seems like a zany bunch. Seems like they'd be fun to watch.

The best part of this week is getting to see more interaction with the characters. Allowing the writing to breathe lets us really see how the chemistry pops and the comedic timing works.

Interesting concept but will they actually last multiple seasons? A network like CBC will not greenlight anything that has the potential of being a small mini-series. best of luck though

This problem has already been addressed, see below, and if you could watch a little longer the sound gets better. Giving it a low rating for technical difficulties seems harsh. Perhaps you could revisit your rating?

Definitely a bit quieter than I'm used to from certain parts of the fictions team.... *cough cough, leah* Overall though, entertaining and funny! Could have done with more Kelsey though, what a handsome man! Maybe just make the show about him?

The main suggestion I'd like to make would be to increase your sound volume for next time. Even with my computer at full blast I could barely hear what was being said. Sure my computer probably isn't great, but I didn't have this issue with any of the other videos this week so far. So I'm not really sure if this was funny, related to your concept, or answered this weeks mission question. Good luck with the competition though, it's a shame about your sound quality.

perhaps you just need a better computer, and a better sense of humor...

    Leah N. 4  posted 10 years ago

Hey Christina! I TOTALLY agree about the sound! We had some wind issues we needed to filter out so that ended up lowering the volume on some of the shots. We had to level them out so that when people listened to one part of the video the next shots volume level didn't make their ears bleed! We have done some research and realized that people do not like ear-bleeding. Haha! Here's to the next project being shot indoors out of the wind! Thanks for your comment!
