Synopsis

“Generic Limited” is a comedy about hipsters who get paid $10.50/hr to hang out, spout pretension and occasionally fold an overpriced t-shirt.

Arthur drops out of university. He's certain he has a great purpose but he's unsure of what it is. Sadly, optimism doesn't pay the rent. He gets a job at the dubious clothing store "Generic Limited". His disgruntled manager Richard begins to teach him the ropes in debauchery.

The visual style will be similar to a live action cartoon. Absurd humour will be prevalent but the foundation of each story will come from the ego and neuroses of the characters. It's our goal to make this comedy feel like the outrageous, yet heartfelt comedies we love.

Great trailer. Comedy on television has pandered to the lowest common denominator for too long. We need more of these original and well written Canadian comedies.
