This is definatly different lol. You have a great concept here that people all across the country can enjoy. The actors are very funny together and the quality is good. Wow, thats got some edge to it, might be a little crude for cbc. Some potential at least, the characters seem well defined. The atheist adds a lot to the mixture contrasting with the other characters in an "odd couple" kind of way.

People can really relate to this concept; a bit too vulgar language and a bit too much sex. But I'm sure there are people that can relate to or even work with these type of guys.

I'm sorry but this segment is not really working for me ;perhaps because I've had to work with so many assholes in my life that it's too much like reality TV. Having said that, the cast does amuse in spite of some of the language so I will just simmer down and wait for your next production.

I think this is a great show! Bridget Tobin deserves some kind of award, she is absolutely brilliant. The writing, directing, plot, characters, all looking polished and professional, like you guys know what you're doing. Well done! Don't let the negative comments bother you... if you hadn't done the dick and sex jokes, they'd all be complaining about how sappy and corny it was. As someone who's watched the entire first season, I think you guys present a more well-rounded and balanced show than this particular teaser may indicate. GOOD LUCK!

My son watched the whole first season of this and loved it a lot. I saw a few and it's really funny.

I actually thought this was really funny. Vulgar? Yes. But there is definitely something here. Some of the circumstances were crazy, and what I find to be absolutely disgusting...but that is comedy for you and you guys are trying to bend the rules a bit, or maybe a lot. But if you can't laugh at situations like these, like not even a little bit at the ridiculousness of it all then I don't want to know you.

I'm not a fan of shock humour and it's not because I'm offended by it. The things I've seen on the internet have given me a thousand yard stare so your attempts at getting laughs by shock value fall flat for me. Also like other people have said, this is going to be on the CBC so the general public is going to be offended by this. So on one side you have people like me who are like "Man having sex with a goat... So?" and on the other side you have "That man just said the F word, I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to the CBC!" Could you show why people would enjoy watching these characters for thirty minutes? Comedy is best when it comes from who the characters are as people and if the characters are just gross assholes it's going to get old fast.

Hi! Apparently, you guys already done some shows with your concept. To be honest with you, i didn't know and it's the first video that i watch. In my opinion, there's something there... I don't know what you usually up to, but i can see potential and funny stuff. On the other hand, you're not that different from many sitcom that i already know, but you seem to have some good characters. I think you just need to go further with the characters. I don't really see a lot of what is "different" here. Currently CBC airs a lot of "this is what life is like/people are like in X region of Canada" shows. This seems more of same.

I have seen this whole show, and I was a fan of it. But that being said, I was pretty disappointed that you guys didn't try to do something new with the same characters and show concept. So I am watching some of the videos and I must say a little grossed out and not that much liking this week. sorry to say i wouldn't watch a sitcom with that type of humour.

I'm afraid I'm one of those shock comedy naysayers, too. I want to be either on these guys' side, or I like to be grossed out by. At the moment, I'm somewhere in the middle.

There's some good stuff in here but overall it seems a bit forced. Gross out and shock stuff doesn't really work for me when there's no substance. The "did you wash your hands this morning?" line was pretty good but otherwise I didn't see much I liked.

As much as I love this particular brand of genitalia humour, I'd like to put out there that there's much more to the show. You'll be hard pressed to find characters with more heart... anywhere. The shows are also rich with high brow cinematic and literary allusions. And if any part of you takes a shine to authentic maritime culture (or us displaced expats), you'll be hooked. I haven't seen a better love letter yet.

Your plot sounds good, but you're not really showing us much about it. I'm looking for comedy with a bit of brains attached... maybe sex and dick jokes are what Canadians want these days, but I'm hoping CBC will raise the bar a little higher than that.

There is a lot of sexuality in this short and I think you lost the idea because of it and it negatively impacted this video. I think some of the ideas have been done before but the video was well done and the characters are good. Keep going just maybe less sexuality.

I like the idea but I think it got lost in all the sex stuff. Its funny but to spend the whole 3o minutes talking about it kind of loses the whole point of the story. They need to spend more time on trying to fit into life in Toronto or where ever else they end up.

I thought your overall concept was pretty good, but now that I've seen your third video is this were you plan on taking your series? I know it's already been said but I have to agree, there are just a bit too many dick jokes and I really don't see how this would work out on prime time TV as a series if these jokes were to stay. Maybe it's just not my type of humour, but I did like your first video so I do know you guys have potential. Good luck with the competition!

Although I definitely believe there is a place for comedy like this (I'm a huge Trailer Park Boys fan), I'm just not entirely sure if I can see anything with this kind of content existing on the CBC. I would love to see an example of what you see this show being if it were required to be toned down for broad consumption in these videos. Keep it different but without the raucous bangin' in the barn.

Maybe if the makers of this low brow comedy ventured off the island of PEI and explored some of the other comedy styles out there, they'd realize the "dick" joke saturation in this vid actually makes it offensive to MOST viewers. I'm all for R rated comedy, but this is lame AND filth. Sorry, but its too silly and I find it offensive. In my humble opinion, the only thing that "differentiates" this video, is that unlike it - some of the other submissions in this Coup, are actually funny.
