Actually funny, as opposed to shock-and-schlock faux funny. With a beefed-up cast, this could be excellent.

I love the beauty. I know that's not the point, but it's there. The cinematography is golden and lovely and gives it a period feel so that I suspend my expertise and wait to be shown the world. I also like the wry humour. And as a mom, I like that I can show this one to my kids. That is a rare nobility - universal human comedy.
