Synopsis

Glenn and John have recently moved to the city with grandiose ideas of fame and fortune in the film industry. With not many contacts, and even less talent, the odds are definitely stacked against them. However, they may just be dumb enough to stick around until things start going their way.
Running lines is the journey of two dudes with a dead-fish grip on reality who oddly enough seem to keep bumping into people who are basically on the same level they are. Whether it be overly pretentious screenwriters, slightly perverted head-shot photographers, or falsely entitled "social media specialists", there are plenty of encounters for the two friends to make within the Toronto film scene.
