Riel Hahn's Profile Image

Riel Hahn

Talent, Writing and connecting

I am a Vancouver based comedian who has been described as “delicious”, “hilarious”, “ferocious”, “filthy mouthed” and as “a blizzard in the House of Commons”. I was raised by compassionate, thoughtful people to believe that no one person is better than any other person; I have some discomfort with stasis and classism. Ultimately I believe that funny trumps everything.

I like the strangeness, and I enjoy this type of thing when I watch Portlandia. That said, I've seen this already. I don't feel comedy needs to be universal, but when it isn't, I wonder if there's room for more of these same types of character archetypes.
