Aaaaaaaand this is genius. You had me at "a tisk-it a task-it". Give us more! Specifically, I want to see a montage of Saaajiid in scenarios. I enjoy this so much. Personally, I think he's already hitting a chord. I feel so bad for the guy clearly out of his element trying to be a famous TV personality/host. I want see him fight for his chance and blow it time after time. I want to see him handle brutal rejection with his deadpan mumbles. I really enjoyed what Darrell Faria talked about in the Mission 2 video. This character will really creep on audiences. From pathetic to heroic. What's going to bring this to the next level is moving beyond the accent and costume and bringing us to the emotional moments. We need to get attached to him. I know you're a Michael Scott (Office) fan. We need some classic failure and redemption. I think Saaajiid is endearing because he has a dream and will never give it up. And it's a tragedy that he's so awful at it. Best of luck in ComedyCoup. I think your concept has wonderful potential.

I like the concept of the show but found this video a bit weak and maybe a bit boring. Sorry but good luck on the next stage of the contest.

Man... this character could kill it on YouTube. Fill up a channel with like, 100 videos of rap covers exactly like this and I guarantee it'll blow up someday.

This guy is ridiculous. Part Borat and part Nathan for you. This awkward humour can be really fun if done right and this project does it right. I`m in.

As humour is a personal thing I judge these projects as to whether I believe it can appeal to a wide enough CBC audience base to attract more than a niche market commercial sponsor and with evidence of potential to generate a weekly series worth of material. Good luck.

I love this guy! He's so nerdy and ethnic. It really works. Can't wait to see more. I hope they introduce a dating segment. I think this character would do well with the ladies.

This just seems lazy in so many ways. Your concept is light and it feels like the whole things being phoned in on purpose. Not really getting my interest, sorry.

OMG DF, This is the best -- proof positive that you need no artifice for great comedy, just a comitted (or should be commited) performer, a camera, an eminem tune, and a CBC sponsored web challenge so we can all see it. Nice one -- Am I at a hundred words yet? LOL. Just kidding. This is my favourite week 3 mission, aside from my own, of course:)

Great editing. Could do a lot better on choosing a sweater with an appropriate arm length. I give you a 7/10 for your sincere face. Interested to see how this character develops.

Sorry guys this did not do it for me. I could barely make out any words, and that may have been the point but it did not come across as funny, nor did it (I believe) meet the criteria for week 3.

No clue what you said in this video at all, but I appreciate that you are retweeting Ryan Seacrest. That alone is funny.

I really didn't understand your video at all. I don't mean that I wasn't able to interpret what was being said, I just didn't take away anything from this video at all. Hopefully if you get further you'll be able to explain in other videos what is going on. Good luck in the competition!

I like the idea, and I can see how the charater of saaajiid can be funny, but what is the story? How will he evolve? Or is the idea that we watch saaajiid in different situations and see his reaction?

Loved this. It was very funny. I would like to set him up with my daughter. I think that they would hit it off as she loves Eminem also. She also knows all of the lyrics, which is helpful.
