Synopsis

Unreeled is a comedy that has been in the works for quite some time (21 dog years). The idea about a young hockey legend coming face to face with crippling failure came to the minds of several friends over beer whilst filming a independent film that they don't talk about anymore. The creators, who work full time jobs while chasing their passion of film, wanted to depict what that kind of life was like. Unreeled is a new comedy about Canada's passion for hockey, success, living our dreams, following our hearts, and what it looks like when none of those things work out, life smacks us in the face and we're forced to make the best of a bad situation...

Hey. It's happened to all of us...

Getting older but staying silly he started getting paid to perform in the comedy groups "The Dumb Guys", and in Vancouver with "Damen & Herren." Chris Lee

Showrunner, Writer

I'm an actor/writer living in Vancouver. My accolades are admittedly, minimal, but they include a comedy titled "Manstruation," which was featured as a winning selection at the Crazy 8's film festival! It's an award winning short about guys who get periods & was made on a budget of $1000... If I can make that good, imagine what I could do with $500,000!

That was pretty funny! Love the dry wit of the narrator, plus the comedic timing of your lead is spot on. This has promise!

This show has potential, though the genre shifts may get a little jarring.

After watching the missions though, one question keeps going over and over and over.....Was his sister giving him a hummer?

This concept and this crew have the potential to make this a hit show! Canadians want to see a handsome hockey player hit ROCK bottom. It caters to demographics of hockey lovers and haters! Lots of great material to work with...
