Synopsis

The Toronto Police Bike Patrol is a misfit squad of eccentric yet competent-enough officers who deal with the cities' less glorious crimes. They aren't tracking down drug-lords like in Miami Vice or busting terrorists like in The Border. Nope, these guys are engaging in high-speed chases with unicycles, performing RIDE checks after Bryan Adams concerts, and providing security for Hollywood movie shoots.

Marshall loves kickboxing, but his roommates hate when he leaves cardboard everywhere. If he's not writing jokes on Twitter (or this bio) he's doing it as the writer and showrunner of The Bunch Gang Show, a sketch comedy series he produces with his brother, Ted Jefferies. When he's not doing that, he's writing the pilot episode of a series set in his hometown of Toronto.

Meet Ted. Not just a pretty face… he also has fantastic hair. A Toronto actor trained in theatre but moved to film. Lately he's been acting in/producing a comedic web series called The Bunch Gang Show with his brother, Marshall, which has received rave reviews from their parents.

Erin Reid

Producer, Showrunner

Erin Reid has been making people laugh ever since she found out she could make fart sounds with her mouth. She attended Humber College and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Media Production, with a sold out screening at a major Toronto Theatre under her belt. She loves being able to put together her two passions in life; making films and fart sounds.

I couldn't give you a rating of 10 simply because if the Mayor loses his bike, You should let the bike be free. Don't try to help :) Haha. Love your concept though really.

Not entirely sure where this one can go based upon the trailer... Seems like 21 Jump Street, and could be a teaser for a movie but not a show that will progress over time.

Hilarious! Though the shorts aren't quite short enough, leave the viewer disappointed though wanting more...more shorter shorts.

bike cops is a good concept . there are many funny things that cops have to deal with all the time. perhaps he needs to learn how to ride a bike a little better. i look forward to following this project

Seems like it's got lots of potential; so many possibilities for bike cops out on the streets, in Canada's changing weather, and our funny-oddball population. Lead actors seem versatile.

The love of a guy and his bike, what's not funny about that? While I see the comedy here, it's at the expense of the real bike patrols. I guess one incompetent newbie could slip through, hilarity ensues, and with the right bizzare circumstances he keeps his job. I hope for more ...

Great potential for some comic hilarity. Interested to see what separates this from other police comedy's such as Brooklyn 99. I am sure there are things other than cops on bikes that will make this series stand out as Canadian.

The premise is solid enough in that it's a fish out of water premise. Those almost always work. Is the mayor a theoretical mayor or are you going after Rob Ford? I only ask as I just don't think he owns a bike.

I like it, the faking drug use bit is funny. I once saw a bike cop sit in a Wendy's parking lot near a stop sign and just give ticket after ticket after ticket to Wendy's customers. Pretty awesome.
