Synopsis

It's a miracle Blackwater Music is still in business. The long-time owner recently got re-married and installed his newly acquired, grossly under-qualified 22 year old step-son, Jerry, as the store manager. This didn't sit particularly well with Ryan, the head of the guitar department and the owner's actual biological son. Feeling slighted by his father, Ryan gets his revenge through being really bad at his job. Although it's hard for anyone to notice as everyone at Blackwater Music is bad at their job. The staff isn't particularly knowledgable or presentable or friendly for that matter - but people still keep coming back. For now anyway.

This isn't a show I would watch, although I am probably not the target demographic. The character that originally tries to sell the cakes makes me laugh.

I really liked the teaser, it seems like something that me and some of my friends would like to watch, I also lie the goofy style of the show. It seems like if this was a show that I would really enjoy it, so I'd like to see this in the future. Yeah.

This is HILARIOUS! If this were to air on television i would definitely watch it and recommend it to everyone. this has a great cast, quality and it's simply funny and appealing to almost anyone with a sense of humor, by far one of the funniest and smartest comedy pitches i have seen. Song is good but the star lip syncs poorly and is completely unlikable. If this really is the #1 rated show I don't see why.

I get the parody, but the execution needs work. Can't isolate half the older white folk who will undoubtedly turn this off halfway through the opening - aka more than half the CBC fan base. Don't think the older crowd will get it right away, that it's satire.

It's probably one of the better 'abuse to customer' vignettes I have seen in a while, (I now rescind that statement, but will let it stay because eff ghost edits) but it seems bizarre that all the characters would be bad at their jobs. I realize if this goes for a season it can become an issue, but I don't see how such a place could last long with that type of staffing. Which as it seems, may be what you want for the show.

It seems like oodles of people are coming in and voting a nine or ten for this because of some Matt G guy; but I can't really say because the contest is arranged the way it is. I think one of the better aspects of the video was where it was shot; an actual music store. My one point is that it seems like it was filmed in a chain; where it would seem to imply it's a private seller/business and not a chain. The big boon was where you shot; hopefully you can find a real music store to keep filming in.

I can see how working with someone like the CBC could be helpful; it may be easy to get musical acts in for their own promotional reasons to boost ratings. Good luck, guys.

I don't understand how this type of show would be able to expand over multiple seasons. Would be funny as short youtube videos but I don't see the potential in long form content here.

Well, I think that you missed the mark on explaining why you are different. Filling the teaser with other popular comedic work did not move you forward. It actually says that you have not got enough of your own content to go week to week. Sorry guys.

The concept is alright. I don't find the character voices that interesting or diverse. IF this is about finding something new, I feel as though this isn't necessarily it, but could potentially be massaged into something good.

I think this would be a great show in the sense of entertainment. I believe there should be a lot more shows like these showing the humorous side of working as an employee, boss, or just being the customer in certain situations that would be considered frustrating and/or awkward. It's like an escape from the usual stressful ways of working or being an unsatisfied customer and just having a good old laugh out of it. Plus, this show seems that it could be very relatable towards many of its audience. Yes siree I would definitely watch this show!

I've watched Matt for a while, as for the others, I've seen/heard of them, I'm aware that all of them have potential, and if this does become a show, it will be big, very big. They're all hilarious, and I'd like to see them all work together in this show.

This looks like a very interesting show. It mixes two of my favorite things; music and comedy! It's always nice to just kick back and watch some idiots dick around. I mean, who wouldn't enjoy that?! Not to mention it has Matt Gibson in it. I've been watching him on YouTube for a long time now and I'm thrilled to see him getting an opportunity like this.

I really like the idea and the acting's extremity. It's unrealistic but still amusing I would definitely watch this show if it was on television. Im already a fan and look forward to seeing the quirky situations these people get put into.

I think the trailer was super funny, and I would definitely love to see the entire thing! The writing is witty, and unique, and unlike anything I've seen before. The actors seem perfect for their roles as well. Overall, it looks fantastic.

I thought it was pretty hilarious. A lot of shows these days lack comedy, and are quite mindlessly stupid. This however, was clever, great acting, and hilarious. Whomever writes the script, kudos to them! Loved it!

I like the style of how it's filmed. The show does kinda reminds me of Workaholics in a slight way, but that's ok because that's a good show and this is definitely different from it; I was just saying you could probably attract the same audience. I hope this does make it because I would for sure watch it!

Hilarious, I love the concept. The writing is exceptional and the characters have a great witty dry humour. The synopsis of the show is great: employees and their boss of a music store. It's that new hipster stuff that's popular to pretend it's not popular. It's great, good job. I hope to see this on television.

This was amazing! I can see great potential not only as a show, but in each individual character. I love how you could clearly see each one's personality straight away, and not one overshadowed the other. Brilliant script, amazing set and talented actors! Definitely something I'd put on to record if I had to miss the live airing!
