Synopsis

Cliff and Sunee are best friends. Sunee is Punjabi. Cliff is white... and has been in love with Sunee’s sister since Kindergarten. When Sunee’s sister is arranged to be married to a total D-Bag, he convinces Cliff to marry his sister instead. With Sunee as his guide, Cliff will do his darndest to overcome some traditional and not-so-traditional hurdles to fit into their culture and win over the family. BuddyGuys is like “The Fox and the Hound” meets "My Big Fat [Bollywood] Wedding".

    Not connecting with the comedy in this one. I feel like it would be better if it was played more seriously and the comedy came out of the situations.

    It sounds like a fun idea, and if you make it I'll definitely check it out. But your tag line looks like it's more suited for a movie than a TV show since you essentially have a conclusion already chosen. In any case, hopefully you're not going to have to rely on the wildcard to make it in this round.

    Great idea for a show...the constant irony of multicultural and ethnic marriage is upon us with tons of twists and funny ideas that people can relate to...Russell peters career took off speaking about the same irony...think it would be a great tv show

    It's a pretty amusing concept. The parents are the best part of the show so far. I absolutely love them. I'm really pleased to see a scripted show and not more sketch comedy.

    My only concern is that the acting feels forced.
