The trials and tribulations of the idiotic comedy duo Cheap Smokes floundering in the City of Angels
After a long road trip from Toronto, Kaitlin and Laura have finally made it to Los Angeles to chase their dreams of becoming comedy superstars. Once arriving, they immediately lose their apartment, become homeless and bomb their first set. So naturally they decide to go out on the town and get s%&$ faced! In the morning they wake up in their car/home and try to piece together the night.
Fave 15 Views 1175 Comments 15Laura was born and raised in a very small town called Thamesford Ontario where "cow poop bingo" was an annual thing (seriously). She has been apart of the comedy duo Cheap Smokes for six years. Laura has been on MTV's losing it, Prank Science, Ghostly Encounters, and hosted Swap Shop on Rogers television. She has recently booked the lead in a feature film, Hate Horses.
Kaitlin is a writer, director, and chocolate eater from Pembroke, Ontario (a town known for it's murals and retirement homes). She's been apart of the Canadian comedy award winning sketch troupe “The Sketchersons." And is the other half of the lady comedy duo "Cheap Smokes" where she has found any excuse to play goblin characters, consequently attracting many hot boys.
Deborah first got her writing chops as a member of the award winning sketch troupe the Boom. She then wrote for Versus Valerie, winning 2013 Geekie Awards and Best Web Series at the Canadian Comedy Awards in 2014. Her short film, Pop The Grapes - was an official selection for AIFF, LA NewFilmmakers and awarded the Avrich Award for Emerging Talent at TIFF 2013.
