WKRP in Cincinnati meets The Office. A small town radio station full of big city egos.
View ProjectSmall town radio. The bottom rung of the show biz ladder. In fact it may not qualify as a rung at all. Some might say it’s the dirt the show biz ladder rests on. It’s the last chance for folks to bask in the glow of the entertainment spotlight and carve out a piece of show biz real estate for themselves. The highest echelon of the small town radio gutter is the morning show. Meet Mike Street. He hosts the morning show. He’s the big fish in this small town pond. Welcome to the world of small town radio celebrity.
Fave 13You definitely deserve this and far more. You all proved any naysayers wrong, and rightfully so. The longer you keep this idea alive, the longer it will live. It's up to all involved. I know it has the stamina, based on the idea alone. I can't WAIT to see it evolve.

Like the old style of microphone and the idea of Dead Air in radio is well.....deadly! Hope to see how you can build the concept for your show. Best of luck.
Definitely B.
A graphic way too inane -- closes down the possibilities.
Thanks for the feedback Kathy L!
As much as I love a good dick joke I had to go with poster B. The iconic "On Air" sign is perfect and the tagline is great.
Thanks Dylan M! You're a well rounded chap who enjoys a weenie joke, but is still practical. Good on ya!
like your posters - different
Thanks Dianne P!!
Poster A says it hard!!
Ohhhh youuuuu!
lol
I get Poster A but that thing sure don't look dead to me.
Darlene G is a saucy gal!!
Like your posters this week and still lovin' the premise for this sitcom. Hope we see you moving forward as the weeks progress!
Thanks Janet M! We can't wait to show you our stuff! Keep your dial tuned to Dead Air!
Really Really like the style of your poster! Nailed it guys!
Thanks Josianne! I like your name. It's fun.
it's great to see ComedyCoup nurturing local talent and unique ideas. Dead Air's tag may harken derivative Gervais, but I can see this concept and this team have a lot to offer outside the traditional comedy box. It's time to cultivate this concept and I can't think of a better way to do it! P.S. I picked B mostly because the wordmark was consistent with the concept, and blue is a good contrast.
Thanks Trevor B! I understand a teeny tiny bit of what you're saying, but am grateful that you said it!
I would have picked A if there was a mickey of rye on the table. Well done on both. Can't wait for this project to come to fruition!
mmmmm rye! Thanks Theresa F!
Both posters are well done and each are worthy of standing alone to represent DEAD AIR!. But my pick is for B. Love the retro look and the "Dead" covering the on air sign. Well done Three cheers for making the top
!
Thanks Dianne B!! Our love for you is retro!
Penis joke in poster A... Classic!
Thanks Micah M!!
Good luck! Love the concept!
Thanks Kelly B! Stay tuned for more!

Thanks Ryan S!! We're excited to show you our next video! Thanks for following!
Last week I attached my microphone to give my lecture and asked "am I turned on?" Good luck with this Jay! I'm voting! Auntie Wendy xoxox
Ahh how cute are you Auntie Wendy!! I'm calling you that hence forth.
Both posters are quite good. But B certainly is in better taste. But A did make me giggle. :)
So wait...what you're saying is you didn't like the taste of A?!?! Muhahaha!
Loving poster B. The simplicity of both are great as are the contrasting colours choices. Poster B wins me over as it's a great usage of the typical elements found in a radio station.
Thanks for the thoughtful comment Christina O!

Very interesting concept. I likes a lot of it and am looking forward to what comes next. Made me laugh.
I really like the simple images of these posters. It gets the idea across nicely.
love poster B - I work in community radio and am very interested to see where this leads :)
Thanks Sarah A!! Community radio!?!?! Good on ya! That means our paths have probably crossed at a dog show or two!
