Week #1 Show Teaser Dope Ass World

A dope-ass glimpse into the world's most unknown, unwanted & unreported news stories.

Fave 54   Share 8 Views 2403 Comments 32

Dope Ass World follows our team of fearlessly intelligent journalists (and our super-tight documentary crew) as we investigate the most underreported stories from around the globe. Every week we immerse ourselves in a different country/culture and get into some serious trouble along the way. Hell yeah our stories start off like traditional documentaries, but when things take a turn for the worse, you’re in for some tense found footage sh*t! Battling evil foreign dick-tators! Kicking trendy drug addictions! Escaping super-cray cults! No matter what we get into… We don’t come home until we’ve got our story. This ain’t the news…This is Dope Ass World.

kinda reality tvish relying on regular folks on the street to provide content, going to NYC to generate interest is a little obvious and isn't interesting for a show that I presume will be shot in Canada , c'mon, if you can't find enough kooky peeps at home than you're doing sumptin' wrong. but if even if you were to do so it be kinda crutch like indent original scripted content - or that was an earlier video ... hmm .. the voice over here was tough on my ears

it's easy to make fun of child labour, terrorism and perpetuate awful stereotypes from a privileged vantage point when you don't have to deal with any of it first hand, on a daily basis.

not funny - good job at contributing to keeping oppression alive in the world, CBC.
