i dont really "get" this kinda humour it seems very offensive and crude and i dont think that families would like to watch it. i also dont understand why you went to NYC if this is supposed to be a canadian competition. you should be showcasing the beauty of our own country not going someplace else. even though you WERE messing with the damn yankees over there lol

I like that you're venturing outside of our borders and the maple leaf with your logo alone is an accidental genius marketing plan. I don't even think you know the gold that lies in that. It's fall, go stamp some leaves already. For a comedy show like this I am harkened back to Ali G, he nails it. Sasha Baron Cohen's characters are hilarious and the people he's interviewing are hilarious. We need higher stakes from a show like this. good luck

It's funny, original, eccentric, erratic, and attention getting. It's also very "in-your-face" and occasionally straddles the line between being modern and fresh, and just trying too hard to be. It could attract a very strong cult audience, or just rub a lot of people the wrong way with it's abrasiveness. Depends on what you're trying to achieve, I suppose.

A bit torn. The Times Square thumbnail will definitely draw some people in (as it did for me). However, this is a Canadian contest and it would be nice to see you in Dundas Square(similar to Times Square) or some other recognizable Canadian landmark.

I feel that is the type of attitude that really limits Canadian media, Times Square is an internationaly famous location, why shouldn't we use it if we can? To constantly try and substitute a "Canadian" equivalent dilutes the impact. If you are Canadian and you made it that should be good enough.

Good luck in the competition. I am voting for another team but need to make constructive comments to get votes for them.

Not sure how original the concept is. You have some funny bits, but not sure that this is a show that I would watch week to week on air. Good luck!

Love the lack of fucks being given by this crew when they're out on the streets. I'd watch the show just for the antics. And the writing is also bang on. You guys got a good thing going here. Side note, I swear the Epic Meal Time guy is clinically depressed. That is not a happy camper.

I don't really know what to think of this. mocking the news could be humorous but it isn't something I am looking forward to I'm not really interested in any more of this but I'm sure you have many fans so rock on.

I don't really like this concept. so tired of spoof the news shows. it is done so much better in the states than in canada so I like that you bring focus to this.

good job. this video was well done and visually appealing. I just would have liked more Canadian touches than all of the new York shots. Cool but it is a Canadian contest.

You guys always have these little touches that bring your videos to a new level. This week, I think it was the leaf with your logo on it.

Good luck in the top 15.

I'm STILL not sure what to think about this team, but I think it has potential to be pretty funny. Mocking a few different styles of newscasts or television shows might make it more interesting.

Dope Ass World keeps coming out strong! However, can't help the niggling feeling that you're just adding more noise to an already too noisy world. I'd love to see Dope Ass World take on real issues and give This Hour Has 22 Minutes a run for their money.

I am definitely into what you guys are doing here. I think you are a little bit too heavy on the self-aware hipster side of the spectrum for me and would like to see that get toned down a bit. The Man on the street bits have potential to be funny and I really enjoyed the "Flipping the bird" bit. This reminds me of "The Day Today" and "The Brass Eye," but lacks that show's surreal genius.

Dope Ass World is going to be a tough project to beat but if everyone gave up, comedy coup would be so depressing it wouldn't be comedy anymore. the naked cowboy approves of everything except clothes

I'm intrigued by this video, but I'm not sure if it's a good or a bad thing. I mean I'm all for #ScrewtheNews, but what does this show actually do? I don't think they would get to air on CBC. I think this concept is a strictly FX or Webseries sorta thing.

Very talented film making, without a doubt. I understand that is an attempt at satire, but I would recommend toning down the 'tudes of the journalist characters. The main guy especially comes across as super aggressive. Nice to see some diversity in the cast though! Definitely not common in these projects.

You guys are brilliant. Religious Animals? Eco Friendly Flyers? Love the production quality and the way you're engaging the fans. I did wonder about the NYC thing... sometimes it makes me feel like you're the Real World.

One of the few videos that really went after getting some media this week. Love the idea of the hashtag and the aggressiveness of the video. I hope in the future you'll consider doing more here (why not hit Younge and Dundas square in Toronto or hang out by the giant Egg in Vegreville?) instead of hitting times square; the media outlets in this country could use a shake up as much as the ones down South.

Lots of great energy in this vid - though if I missed something forgive me, NYC? I thought this was a Canadian meet Canada kinda coup? International projections forsure.. though content Canada, yes? no? DAWorld, ok. But why not hit up a big city here? Nice promo cards on leaves!

Fun concept. Been following some of these guys from their Boo Ya days and I have no doubt they have the ability to pull off an edgy and entertaining show. They have the ability to pull this off and shock people while keeping them laughing.

Great video, definitely out there and different. I get how you explained your concept since I know what your concept is (as from your other videos, synopsis, etc), but if this video was meant to explain your show to the media I don't think the explanation was very clear. Also as for your Facebook event page it might be a good idea just to add EST to your time as so fans that aren't in the area can figure out when your event is.
