Francesco Rompepalle is a middle aged italian man who decides to quit his job to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. On route to his first audition he witnesses a mafia boss being whacked by his own men. As luck would have it, Francesco becomes the new Don. In the acting role of his career he has pretty big shoes to fill.

Synopsis

Francesco, a middle aged italian man has always wanted to be an actor and is now finally following that dream. On his way to an audition he witnesses a mafia boss being whacked by his own bodyguards. The cops are nearby so thekillers hand Francesco the gun and in due process, unintentionally becomes the new Mob boss. He leaves his mother's basement to play the best possible acting role of a life time. The problem is Francesco only knows Mob related things from what he has seen on T.V. and the movies. With the help of the bodyguards who know who he truly is, Francesco begins his journey learning the ropes of organized crime.

I can see some humor int the concept but I'm having difficulty imagining the mob guys being fooled by this guy ... at least not for very long. If I block that from my mind I guess there could be some very comical situations that could arise ... while it lasts. The Man Who Knew Too Little meets Inspector Cluso

I understand the concept. Looks more dramatic than comedy. Didn't find the comedy in the video. Maybe the concept will develop otherwise though.
