Friends United Beyond All Race is a half hour SitCom based around the life of radio host, DJ, father, ex-husband and basketball coach as he adjusts to his world being turned upside down when gets bumped from the prime time slot at the radio station and his ex-wife give Ali B custody of his daughter who comes to live with him.

Synopsis

Friends United Beyond All Race follows the life of Ali B, an American transplant living in Surrey, BC. As co-host of a popular prime-time radio show, Ali B's star appears to be on the rise until two life altering changes occur during the first episode. In the morning, he finds out he's losing his co-hosing spot to a younger, "fresher" face who happens to be the bosses nephew and that he has been demoted to host of the "Midnight Hour". Ali's bad day is not done yet, however. After a long, trying day, Ali comes home to find out that his ex-wife has surrendered custody of their 14 year old daughter to him. Ali must find balance in the new environment of work, family and private life.

Ryan Catherwood

Ryan has been working in the film and video industry for the past 14 years as a camera assistant, grip, camera and lighting rentals, theatre and event management, short film producing, documentary producing, camera operator and photographer. In 2009 Ryan produced the first Laughing Stock 72 Hour Comedy Competition, inspiring 22 teams of filmmakers to make comedy shorts.

As an English Lit/Classics major, the story is my specialty. I believe that whatever genre, two things are required for film making to be compelling, story and character. My asset to this group is that I am a storyteller. While everyone has a story to tell, not everyone is able to tell it well. That's where I come in and my craft begins.

I have been active in the entertainment industry, a radio personality, television host and DJ Promoter since 1985. My career started in Winnipeg, Manitoba DJing Socials. I relocated to Vancouver, BC in 1992 to pursue my dreams of working in radio and television. Currently I DJ & Act in the Vancouver area and am pursuing my dreams to share my life experiences. Much love!!!

not much of a teaser, it was more of just info on what a show could be, not what the teaser should have been, wasn't funny

We are following a guy's life. No idea if it's going to be funny or not because it wasn't shown to us.
