'Ganza sketch comedy and music series - bringing the funny and indie tunes - one province at a time!
View ProjectThe Differentiator for 'Ganza is the concept. A sketch comedy & indie music show that travels from coast to coast to coast showcasing local Canadian talent, filmed guerilla style in real locations, like the CBC Broadcast Centre! Each episode will feature an indie band and a guest actor from the host province or territory.
Fave 24 Views 212Nicely done kids! Making Peterborough proud! And Daniel...I learned my sexy scary from you.

Haha amazing stuff guys. I like all the characters, perfectly cast if you ask me. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project for sure, very unique to all the other projects.
Weird video but it worked well with the tone of your show. It all can go random. Looking forward to what the team bring forth next! Go team!
I really dig the musical influence, really impressed by travel aspect, good luck, pull back on the silly!
You gots the ebbola! LMAO Funny stuff guys...REALLY cool concept for a show, so I still hope to see this come out at some point!
This is an interesting concept! Pretty funny stuff! Best of luck in Top 50!
This is hilarious guys. Very clever.
Thanks Kara. We appreciate it!
What a great way to bring a spotlight to "the little guys" who otherwise rarely get their well-deserved moment in the sun. Canada has so many great artists in music and theatre, and it's a fantastic idea to dedicate an entire series to recognizing them. :)
Thanks Lane. We think so too!!!
Funny and witty with a touch of hilarity! That's why I love these guys.
Keep up the great work.
My new favorite sentence of all time is, "Funny and witty with a touch of hilarity!" I will carry this with me, always!!! Thanks Ron T.!!!!
Representing Peterborough! Good on ya guys! Keep it going and run with it. I hope the CBC references help and don't hinder. Good luck!
Thanks Daniel, us too!!!!
It does seem like stuff the CDC would like, personally still not sure, you're vying for $500 K so guerilla style is not really the order of the day.
Lots of work goes into making the attempt but at the end of the day it has to be funny for a number of weeks for enough people to get ratings and make money. I prefer others.
Lots of good stuff to choose from for sure in Comedy Coup. We hope you find one to your liking.
This is an intriguing concept, but I'm not sure if you are taking it to it's full potential yet! Looking forward to see what else will come from this group though I find it worrisome they have to hide peoples alcohol to get votes!!!
I appreciate your comment, Taylor. The ONLY reason we would hide people's drinks, is because we want an honest, sober and truthful response from them.
Alright. I promised I would vote for them. Now please tell me where you hid my rye? Seriously...I just watched another episode and I could really use another drink...wait...nope...not behind the litter box...damn you...I will find it....
You'll get it back IF we make top 50.
Hi guys.
If I write another 100 word comment I win three more votes, so it’s in your best interest to let me blather.
Besides all the regular reasons I liked this episode, I especially liked the idea of you guys being forced to visit every province and territory eventually. Because all three of those territories are sure to be awful cold unloving tundra – and probably a really wonderful experience blah blah blah blah let’s just start a kickstarter Campaign to buy Dan some old-miner-esque long underwear and get Luke a comically large pouffy parka.
Also, if you win I would like to be in as many minutes of show as votes I earned and gave to you. I’ll start an excel document.
Sorry I have nothing cute to say to Rob, we don't know each other nearly as well. But if I remember correctly however, I really loved his 24 hour project sketch last year.
Thanks Kate! We'll have to get to know each other better....that OK Kenn?
some really good stuff here about giving indie acts a chance not really that much outlet out there on a national platform
So much musical talent in this country and we don't always have a chance to recognize it. Thanks for your support Sathees! It'll help get them recognized, in a really fun way!
Love this one. Your videos keep getting better -- proof that the best is yet to come. Great demonstration of how your concept is fresh, all the while maintaining a style and incorporating some great topical humour. The personalities are also on full display here. Can't wait to see what other shenanigans you gents have up your sleeves.
Thanks for support Mike! Go Ptbo! #Jobless #DeadAir #Ganza
I like this idea of showcasing Indie talent coast to coast. There is A LOT of talent here after seeing all the projects in this competition that deserve to be recognized. You got something here. If, for worse, you do not make it all the way I would like to see you guys continue this avenue be it a web series even.
Thanks Paul! Yeah, if we do make it, we will definitely be able to draw on the talented actors from Comedy Coup projects!
Glad the travois is finally getting the recognition it well deserves. As a former Beaver Eagle Scout you have gained my respect as well as earned my pants.
I assume you will be sending us your pants then.....We will wait for the courier, as Canada Post no longer has home delivery of pants.
Centre for Being Contagious! They might put us on TV for this! Truly hilarious!
Very kind. Thanks Jill!
I like you guys! Your video kept me interested until the end; it was also funny to me. You seem to have a good team going, and a good idea. Keep working hard, it does pay off. Peterborough go, go, go!
Thanks Don. Always appreciate the feedback, especially when its positive!
Cute sketch, and it showed more about the show--in an amusing way. I enjoyed some of the "Canadianisms," including the mix-up between CDC and CBC. I could just imagine the reception a group like that would receive if they actually brought a sick guy into the CBC for medical treatment. Funny!
Thanks Atulah! We are glad you enjoyed the sketch!
Good concept. I like the idea of Indie music. I like the audition format. That was funny. Not too sure that topic was funny. Good luck.
We were sure NOT to make fun of Ebola, nor the victims. We were more making fun of ourselves. Thanks for your comment, Joan. Your support and feedback is VERY appreciated.
Topical. Right out of today's headlines and who knew that Luke could read?
The fact that I can read is a mystery to even me!! Thanks for watching Mark H. You mysterious entity!!
Good luck guys! I am following all three teams from Peterborough. Lots of talent! Keep up the good work
There is LOTS of talent from Peterborough alone, far less, from across the country. The best we're trying to do is keep up. Thanks for your support, Dianne. It's sincerely appreciated.
Out of your three videos this one is so far my favourite. I thought it was quite clever how you did the CDC/CBC joke. I'm a little worried that your concept of traveling across Canada would break the 500k budget, I wouldn't expect that much to go very far. Also it would have been great to give your optional posted pictures titles besides "on the road with the ganza team", it would have allowed you to possibly throw some more humour out there. The more jokes you guys can get into this competition the better. Good luck guys!
Thanks for your feedback, Christina. It has been noted with your comments about the photo's. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and the humour in it. We've already shot three seasons of Ganza (Not that I expect you to know this) on zero budget, so IF we were to win, $500,000 would be $500,000 more than we have now. Although, I suppose that would be true for all entries.
Cool concept. Good job at telling us what makes you special. Good luck.
Thanks Chris.
Great work, guys! Mission 3 is your best video yet!
We're just trying to keep up with you guys, Jay! Thanks mang!!
Thanks Jay! We Peterborough folk be doing good! #DeadAir #Jobless #Ganza
My existence has been validated.
Thanks Adam M. Although, I know your existence is worth a little more than this video, I appreciate the comment!
Nicely done kids! Making Peterborough proud! And Daniel...I learned my sexy scary from you.
This idea has potential - will be watching next weeks video for sure
I don't know if we should be joking about ebola. Is that not how people contract it? Or is laughter the best medicine? You guys should watch Patch Adams.
