Synopsis

Gary has been drunk for the last 3,000 years. Nowadays, the immortal wizard spends his time at the tavern with his decidedly mortal friends. Grog House is a show about what the regular people in your favourite fantasy stories were doing while the heroes were saving the realm. They eat, they drink, they puke, they go on quests down the street for more beer. All while avoiding Sir Beltalon and the Royal Knights.

The son of two screenwriters, I was born in Canada, and raised in Los Angeles, and recognize how lucky I am to be a dual citizen. After studying creative writing, I performed standup, improv, and magic. Whether live or on the screen, I just love to entertain.

Matt Hamilton

Talent, Editor

Matt is a Vancouver Film School Grad for Writing for Film & Television and has a B.F.A in Writing from The University of Victoria. His writing has placed in many contests/festivals including Praxis Fellowship, Scriptoid Television contest, Big Rock Eddies, Creative Screenwriting CS Open & more. As an actor he has many film, TV, commercial credits & is repped by Kirk Talent

Max Sussman

Producer, Sound Designer

I got my start producing my crappy band's crappy album when I was in high school. Since then I've written and done sound for several web series and short films, hosted a few podcasts and directed a few music videos. I like complicated heroes, buddy comedy and ambiguous morality.

I'm a fan of the camera work, your lighting, and that you have a strong cast of characters. Not entirely sold on the writing though, since the humour is a bit misfiring. Still, I've only seen a minute and a half so far. Keep at it!

Sorry. This didn't hit any mark with me. The only thing I saw that was an attempt at being funny was the name. Expected more with that name but it was just bad all around. Sorry.
