The story of two brothers who lost everything they never earned.

Week #1 Show Teaser Heir Heads

The untimely death of their billionaire father was supposed to be the best thing that ever happened to Dickie and Freeman Bannister. But when a clause in their father's will stipulates that they must become rich in their own right before they can gain access to the family fortune, these lazy and spoiled brothers have to do something they've never done before: put in an effort.

Fave 107   Share 27 Views 2795 Comments 76

Synopsis

Cut off from their deceased billionaire father’s fortune until they can become rich in their own right, Dickie and Freeman Bannister are about to get their first taste of the real world.

And it tastes awful.

These days, it sometimes seems impossible just to get by, let alone get rich. These brothers are about to plummet from a world of privilege to join the rest of us here on earth. Watch as they stumble and fall trying to walk even one foot in our shoes.

To these anti-geniuses, every offhand get-rich-quick scheme you’ve come up with at a party is a surefire success. Step out of the way, common sense, because the Bannisters don't even know what you are.

I think Heir Heads is really funny. The boys have no idea how to make $1,000,000: it is so funny. I like their idea of catching a hawk, to fly it across the border to smuggle drugs. . LOL LOL

I think the premise can sustain a series. The main characters have a clear goal and a huge incentive to achieve it. The world is full of people obsessed with making a buck the easiest way possible. The characters will just need to be likeable over the long haul so the viewers care about what happens to them despite whatever ill-advised bone-headed actions they take (in the manner of My Name is Earl.)

Could use a a female touch though. Estranged and already successful sister? Painfully helpful social worker? Seems like it will need more than the "Rich kids in the Real World" concept to mine. There need to be relationships. See: Flight of the Concords.

I dislike people like this, so I find satisfaction and bemusement in their misfortunes and tribulations. It's a good premise and could easily support a season or two of televised content, and it would probably be funny. It allows for a whole host of conmen and grifters grease their way into the 'boys' lives, and really shake them down in hopes of getting their fathers billions.

Hopefully, a smarter, suckered-in/pities them friend could exist (maybe a helpful executor of the estate, or lawyer, a kindly homeless man?) could be introduced to give them a moral core to either succeed or fail in grounding their bizarre/risky ideas.

It's good stuff, keep it up and I know you can sell it to a network.
