Synopsis

Unlike most sketch shows, Human Town is not an assortment of unrelated sketches. Every scenario and character is part of a united storyworld, where all sketches intertwine and flow into one other inside the bizarre city of HumanTown. Events in one sketch will often impact characters and environments in future sketches, creating a continuous universe for viewers to follow and invest in. Think travelling through "Springfield" with the freedom to leave the Simpsons alone for a while. Our goal is to introduce a cohesive brand of narrative and cinematic style to the structure of a sketch comedy show, pushing the boundaries of what 'sketch' comedy really is.

Team

Kajetan Kwiatkowski's Profile Image

Kajetan Kwiatkowski

Daniel Doheny

Director, Writer

Born and raised in Vancouver, Daniel has gotten his start working in theatre around the city. A graduate of the Studio 58 acting program, where he received The Earl Klein Memorial Scholarship, Daniel has been working at the Bard on the Beach Shakespeare festival the past two seasons.

Kane Stewart's Profile Image

Kane Stewart

Producer, Writer

A food eater and sleep fanatic, Kane has worked on award winning short films and recently received a bravoFACT grant to co-produce a talking dog movie. He currently works as a VFX Production Coordinator at Industrial Light & Magic, and has had the endings to 'Pacific Rim', 'Captain America the Winter Solider', and 'Transformers 4' ruined for him in the process.
