The Grand Guignol begins. You may have questions - What darkness lurks inside the Jail House? Will we ever see the face behind the mask? Is Shane desperate for money, or just a sociopath? Keep your eye on us, viewers. Except when we're eating. People watching us eat gives us the willies. Like Todd, he always does that. What is wrong with that guy? Gawd.

Synopsis

8 Convicts. 300 Cameras. 1/2 Way Home.

Eight new convicts are given the opportunity of a lifetime: they can skip jail altogether, IF they move into the hottest new halfway-house/reality-show on the block.

There, they'll compete against their new cellmates for reduced sentences, personalized spin-off series, and fabulous surprise prizes. Prizes...

Will it be easy? Of course not. Redemption never is. Will their sadistic host do everything in his power to keep them imprisoned? Almost definitely. Will they be driven to the brink of sanity by the machinations of their unseen producers? It wouldn't be very funny if they weren't.

Living man Piers Rae is a writer and filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC. He likes short films, short fiction, and short dogs (terriers). Piers himself is of average height.

Joseph is a Vancouver-Based Writer, Director and Producer. He writes for a variety of mediums including Film, Television, Graphic Novels and Advertising.

He vehemently denies rumors that he is actually a supernaturally intelligent cephalopod with a talent for disguises. Then he releases an ink cloud and escapes.

His favorite Vancouver Food Truck is Le Tigre.

I love the prison/reality show concept! It's very modern and throw back to "Big Brother"/1984 ideas at the same time. Super creative! Can't wait to see who these prisoners are and what this host will put them through.
