Absolutely love your show, guys. I watched all the episodes on YouTube and was so sad when I finished. The love I feel cuts me inside, because I'm in competition with you (I'm on team Heir Heads), but my hope is that you guys get picked up by a network like Showcase or something, so that you won't have to tame the awesome cuss-ridden humour of your show. And then we win this here thing and everybody wins. That's the world I wanna live in.

This week's mission was a definite miss for me. It was a great promotion for your hot sauce, I guess, but that was all you seemed to be selling. I originally liked the concept for the show, I thought it had potential even though it didn't seem to be super original. Over the weeks you've lost me to some other projects, sorry! All the best to you in your future, you clearly love what you're doing.

I really don’t understand how this had anything to do with a) the show and b) the challenge. You guys did not explain why we should be watching your show and why it is unique. I feel like you just didn’t put any creative thought into this, not trying to be harsh but –just wanting to sell hot sauce? The audio was pretty brutal so when I started the vid my speakers screeched at me  The only thing I like about it was that it had yummy looking food in it which made me hungry. As stupid as it sounds its why I clicked on it in the first place.

Thanks for the feedback Sharleen, and thanks for watching the vid. As newsworthy as it is that the prospective creators of a prospective show would tout the newsworthiness of their own prospective product, we thought it was kind of cool that we had created a show that actually inspired something as randomly delicious as a real hot sauce named after it. People are clearly divided on this and we respect your opinion....though trying the sauce might sway you

thanks for the feedback Angusina. We think a show that exists, has good reviews, and inspires a delicious hot sauce is "hype-worthy". If you would like to know more about the show, I encourage you to check out our previous videos/key art/sell sheet here, or the 7 full-length sitcom episodes we made that are available on Youtube now (www.justpassingthrough.ca). I think you'll find that people seem to like them, and you might too. If you don't, I encourage you to at least give our delectable hot sauce a try. We promise it will tantalize your taste buds

I thought your show was about guys moving to Alberta to find work so I am not convinced that they would have a certified kitchen to use to make the sauce, unless they were living with mom. Anyway your overall idea seems fun! Good luck!

You guys are funny and your show has great potential but I feel you failed this week's challenge. It was a great opportunity for you to sell yourselves and your show. Instead, you chose to sell hot sauce. Then when the fans express confusion you tell them to go to youtube and/or your website. I'm pretty sure the contest is on the comedycoup website......just saying.

Hi Jeremy....I am aware that you are encouraged to use social media to promote your team, but the Hype It video was a specific challenge requested by ComedyCoup to be uploaded to their website and I feel it is unfair of you to send people all over the place to find the info that should have been in your week 5 video on this website......just my personal opinion.

Thanks for your comment, Kelley. The sex was much more subliminal in this video and much less random than previous videos. When we made the first season of our show for the internet we didn't have the budget to buy ourselves Lamborghinis. And we invested very heavily in our hot sauce manufacturing plant and need to move a lot of sauce to break even - hopefully a CBC 1/2 hour special will make the Lamborghinis and break even on the hot sauce a reality.

There are some videos this week that are trying to hard, and others that don't seem to be trying at all. The common mistake I've seen with most of them is that the teams seem to have given up on trying to build a new audience, and are relying on the ones they've already amassed. This is one such instance of that. In order to gain more votes, it's required that we rate and comment on these videos, meaning you'll likely get new viewers who may become potential voters. I've never seen one of your videos before, and I have no idea what your show is about.

It's a little low to try and sell us your hot sauce when that has nothing to do with this competition. There are a lot of talented people in this competition trying to make it in this business, and this is all they are doing and putting 100% into it. You basically said you wanted to win this to promote your hot sauce- not cool. Good luck next week.

You may have played your hot sauce card a little too early. I feel like you guys should have focused on attracting a new audience to your show, and getting even more media hype, and not just focus on John Doyle and what he said that one time. It's great that you guys already have a head start above all the new projects, but you should take every challenge just as seriously. I would have loved to get a more in-depth behind-the-scenes look at your project and know more about it. Hopefully I'll get to see more of that soon! And I would heavily take advantage of your optional images to give us even more details about the show instead of showing us what we just saw in the video! Good luck on your event Thursday!

I'm so confused by this video. It just feels like a big inside joke I'm not in on. I know your show is already online but this video did not make me feel like seeking it out and watching it. I'm not sure playing to your existing fan base rather than pitching to the media or trying to get new fans was a good strategy. On a positive note, the postcard sell sheet was cute.

Hmmm looks like a real traditional family scoff. Only my family used sandwich spread, not mayo.

Yeah we didn't have mayo when I was a kid either. It was out of style back then, like real butter. So in the 80's it was margarine sandwiches and sandwich spread sandwiches.

Pretty savvy move, boys. Draw us in to your show so you can nail us with the hot sauce.

It's a good hot sauce name too as it will be 'Just Passing Through' my colon!

This is probably my favourite video that you guys have submitted so far. It didn't really act as a "media pitch" and it did lean on the maritimes tribalism that seems to run throughout the whole comedy coup, but it made me laugh. Kudos.

Are you guys so cocky that you can waste an entire submission on hot sauce? Wow. Your balls must be bigger than a couple of Russets. I think you'll still make it to the Top 15, but it probably isn't a good idea to phone it in again next week.

Many Canadians not from the Maritimes (like me) were already enjoying the JPT episodes long before ComedyCoup, and the media took notice. Instead of re-doing work already done, they opted to give us a few laughs in this week's mission. Cheers boys.

Alexandra the sauce has a kick to it. Our lips were stinging after we shot the video but it's nothing a little milk won't take care of. Seriously though, try hot sauce on apple slices. It is the bees knees I tells ya!

Thanks for your comment, Carly. You would have to admit that you did learn that we have a hot sauce and that John Doyle put us on his Top 10 Canadian TV list of 2013. And you did learn about the elements that make up a big scoff and what a mayonnaise/butter sandwich looks like.
