When the grim reaper hires three awful friends, they get to eagerly pick one victim every week.
View ProjectIn designing key art for 'Killing It' - we decided to go a little Memento Mori. (That's right - we know some Art History terms). We chose a skeletal skull as our key image. Lucky for us, it's October.

Poster b again is my pick
I went with B. The show's called, Killing It. And I just thought, that B went with the name of the show.
has the eyes
I agree-simple does it
I like the caption of poster A but I like the humour and simplicity of poster B
So you want a poster C? Damnit Kathryn, so damn demanding! Thanks for the comment!
I like A! Love the look ;)
I'll be sure to let Justin know that, Sara! He's currently in his room crying that he's losing to a skull. We've tried to tell him that one day his face will just be a skull too, but it doesn't seem to be cheering him up.
It's poster B for me. The black on yellow works really well, and also the font you used for the title is like someone doodled it in there to match the skull. I also find that you managed to capture your groups sense of humour better in poster B than A, which relates nicely to your show. By the way, thank you for taking the time to reply to my previous comment, I appreciate the groups that read and reply to their fans posts.
As a joke, this is the only comment I'm not going to reply to.
Ah crap.
Poster B for sure, looks awesome, also way to go on making the cut to the top 55, waiting to see more!!!!!
That will be arranged ! 1 for now 30 when u get top 15
Cheers, Sheldon! If we make it to the top 15, I want to see at least thirty exclamation marks in your next post! ENTHUSIASM!!!
Easy on the eye and delivers the message ... poster B gets my vote!
Thanks Janet! I'll be sure to let Justin know that he isn't easy on the eye! Hahaha.
I liked the simplicity of the skull with silly stuff grafitti'd all over it ... less is more. I do like the hoodie, long hair and shorts aspect of a modern reaper, and it's kinda cool he looks a lot like Dave Grohl (Foo Fighter lead singer and Nirvana drummer) Kinda fits ... a grunge, punk rock reaper ... luv it!
Greg, you just made my day. Justin gets the Dave Grohl comparison almost every day of his life. I don't think it bugs him that much anymore, but I like to hope that it secretly does. But yeah, if you mixed Dave Grohl with the Dude from the Big Lebowski, then sprinkled in some Canadiana, I think you'd have our Reaper. Thanks for the comment!
Great work! congrats on top 55!-Littleton Falls
Thanks Jordan! If our characters ever make it to Littleton Falls, we promise we won't kill everyone!
I like the playful aspect of the hat on the Reaper as opposed to the hood we are all used to seeing! Gives him a "friendlier" aspect!
We actually purchased a classic Grim Reaper hood for the shoot, but Justin wouldn't take his damn hat off. Utterly unprofessional. We appreciate your comment nonetheless, Janis.
interesting poster. Not really feelin the comedy vibe with it though and it doesn't give me any idea what the show is about.
Thanks for your comment, Carly. We really hope that the CBC execs find humor in our key image, or else all those skulls we shipped to their head offices are going to go to waste.

"Simple is good" was what it said under my yearbook photo in high school. They wouldn't let me put my name :/ Thanks for the comment!
Nice and clean . Really like them both. - Wharf Rats
Are you talking about our posters or the two main characters from Wharf Rats? That damn accent even comes through in your text! (thanks!)
That make-up is unsettling, which, I suppose, is the point
That's actually Justin's natural skin. We had to apply human skin tone to him for our Week 3 video. Kind of like the Joker in the 1989 Batman.
Simple and efficient! Like it a lot!
Thanks Josianne! It was a lot of work scraping the dried blood off the skull, but otherwise we had a great time with the photoshoot!
