This was one video which did not leave me walking away from the computer & half only watching it. I was intrigued the whole time - I think it's a great idea, and a I like that it takes people behind the scenes of what it's like to become a professional actor in this country!

The great Canadian experience: visiting a historical site and learning how boring life was. This video was a good demonstration of where the show would go.

This is a clever premise, good acting and a good setting combine to make this a very appealing show. The trick, as always, will be in the writing. Good luck on the race to the final 15.

I like the last one where Andrew was giving it up for the team as the asthmatic who was forced to breathe in the smoke machine. Congratulations for making it to the top 55 guys and ya to Littletonfalls.

The setting has a down-home appeal, with it's small prairie town and characters who are working as actors for tourists. Any industry that has people interacting with the public like that is probably ripe for comedic plucking! The charm, the humor, and good acting should give your idea lots of potential for a Canadian comedy, so good work, Littleton Falls.

Seems like it could be funny! It is true that most of us have worked at some shitty heritage town. A bit presumptuous that they are "coming to CBC in spring of 2015."

This is a show I just cant back on. Nothing negative. Some folks love this type of humor and some dont. Its a love/hate thing but I wish you the best nonetheless.

I love the combination of visual and written humour. Takes me back to the old SCTV days. But this is better! Better production value and more subtle yet well crafted jokes and gags. I suspect these folks have lived what they are talking about!

Amazing stuff guys and gals, all the characters fit very well for the roles, haha all so funny. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project for sure, very unique to all the other projects. The posters are amazing too, really gives us a good glimpse of what to expect! Just wondering how far this story can go, definitely something to look forward!!

Nicely done. I thought you differentiated yourselves quite nicely. I would like to see more of your group done the line, I hope you continue to do well in this competition. I enjoyed how you ended your segment as if you had already been chosen as the winners of the competition.

This show looks so Canadian and I love it! I have a lot of aspiring actor friends who have worked these kind of jobs and think the subject matter has great potential for comedy. I like the twist of following a different character every week and the blue grass greek chorus. I think your videos need a little more punch to them though to really showcase what you've got going. It feels like one of those instances where the advertisements don't do the show justice.

This is a good one…but i am rooting for another team. But it seems like it could work. But I feel like I am cheating on my other team right now.

Being from Prince Edward Island and knowing several people who work here donning the uncomfortable and far too hot attire of the Fathers of Confederation I love the concept. Also it looks like your technical skills are equally as good as your idea is. Can't wait for more

I'm really loving this concept. Of course it's impossible to tell without seeing all of the ideas in action, but following a different character every episode and the Bluegrass Greek Chorus really make this stand out for me from other behind-the-scene/mockumentary style ideas. (Which also means you did an excellent job on the Differentiator video, as I now know what makes it different!)

Someone else commented that the show might have a limited audience, but I think that will all come down to characters and execution. You don't have to work in an office or city services to enjoy The Office or Parks and Rec - the same will apply here.

Great work so far! Looking forward to seeing more, hopefully meeting some of the characters before the Comedy Coup concludes.

Being from Alberta and having a theatre degree, I love this concept! It is so relatable and true for individuals that come from this place of experience! I am also glad you are writing from what you know!
My worry would be that the percentage of Canadians that identify with this idea enough or find it compelling enough to tune in week after week to find out what is going to happen next is questionable. I think you guys are really going to have to develop some strong characters and relational aspect to the show, so you don't run the risk of losing the percentage of your Canadian audience that does not identify with the concept. Talent is there and production value is there though! Keep up the great work!

The concept is still making me love this project! A very familiar Canadian setting yet the behind the scenes is a mystery to most. Let's go top 50! Nice to see Alberta pumping out great work. Interested to see more from characters.

Videos didn't make me howl yet but I love the concept. The narrative in the "differentiator" makes me think about sitting through presentations at Fort George here in Niagara on the Lake and for sure it has promise!

This is such a good setting for a comedy. So Canadian! And so much story potential for ridiculous encounters with "the public".

Well, did not find it to be funny and almost boring; however, maybe that is what you are going for with the "small town" theme? You did show that you have diversity within the cast just not how that will be imputed into the show.

Not what I was expecting at all! But I'd really like to see more. I had a crappy student summer job once. Not quite biting-an-iron-fry pan crappy. But close.

We have a heritage farm near my hometown that is like this. I could see this being a humorous concept.

Yay Rosebud. It's Anne of Green Gables meets Corner Gas meets one of those shows a out putting on shows! I think CBC audiences would really like to sit the whole family down after Sunday dinner to watch this one! I'd watch it.

this is an interesting idea. I have often wondered how people in historical re-enactments can maintain a serious "passion" about who/what they are portraying for more than the 30 seconds we see in the National Historical Moments. The POV episodes will be very interesting indeed

I found the clips very entertaining, the narrative leaves too many blanks, I would have liked to hear more about the characters and more specifics of how this will be all pulled together. I look forward to seeing the future progression.

The scenery is pretty and your idea reminds me of Dawson City Yukon. Historical settings and summer employment where you might even get to dress up. Good luck!

Great stuff, guys! I really like the setting and the situation these actors find themselves in. I also really like the plentiful comedic opportunities that will arise from these two very different groups: actors and tourists. However, I wonder if you might not lose some of your momentum from episode to episode if you follow a different character every time. Just a thought, but keep up the good work!

The biting of the pan was really funny! It totally encapsulated the feeling of utter futility in trying to teach people the ways of the past. I see endless amounts of potential!

This project only came on to my radar recently but I am really into it! I've always kind of wondered if the whole heritage village re-enactment thing will ever lose steam but you guys could forever immortalize the phenomenon with a TV show

I can see that these guys have a good understanding of timing and the reversal of expectation. I like the layers in the shot, the composition and there is always story telling happening. There is experience behind these film makers. Gonna need to be able to connect with a character (Geoff Legacy) or group of characters, will be tough to stay involved if I only get the situation of the "heritage town" as my in.

I agree with Lane, so far your teasers feel like a bit too much navel gazing to appeal to general audiences. But I can see the potential for the concept - having worked as an interpreter at a museum I know there's a lot of comedic potential in the disconnect between what you're portraying and what's really going on around you. And I'm sure most Canadians can relate to being at a museum and feeling that uncomfortable fascination with the interpreters... Good luck!

I thought the shot of everyone on their cellphone in the background was pretty amusing. I would have liked to see more of your show though as to get a better understanding of how a series could be made from it. Maybe if you make it to the next round you can explain further what your show is really about. Good luck with the competition guys!

This one has potential for sure! The video was a little wordy for me, but it was definately informative. im still on the fence, as i found many more projects VERY funny, and im not sure this one is up to snuff. I fully support all comedy in Canada no matter what, cause its all about keepin going.. so keep on keepin on, guys!

I think this is the best one yet. I particularly loved the skillet bite and the awkward uncle. Girl's facial reaction was priceless. I want to hear the bluegrass chorus!

It's really good to see a lot of familiar faces utilizing Rosebud in a way that, uh, it's always been utilized, but with cameras now! It's going to be tough selling this one, not only to viewers, but also to the network, as the industry often has a prejudice against shows/films about the industry. But I do know that some fantastic talent has come out of Rosebud over the years, so hopefully the best of them are giving their all to make this premise into something memorable. However, I would really like to see some more character creations, as the first three videos really haven't given me any faces to put on the story, which takes away a great deal of the comedy. If I didn't know that this was a Rosebud production, I don't think I would have kept following the project.
