Week #1 Show Teaser Locker Lives

LOCKER LIVES is a character driven comedy that combines elements of observational, self-revelatory comedy heightened by the unreal and ridiculous. Think “Family Guy” x (“The Larry Sanders Show” + “CODCO”) divided by “Hollywood Squares” = Inane Insanity. The show is not without its poignant moments—but why dwell on that.

Locker Lives, a show within a show, follows a group of actors working on the set of a hit teen comedy TV series (a la, "Saved By The Bell") called "Locker Lives". The characters they play on the show are not that dissimilar from the archetypal teens on an after school special. But these actors aren't teens at all--- they're washed up actors in their 30s and 40s who've been on the show for over a decade, desperately clinging to their youth while begrudgingly acting in the only gig they can get in town. Locker Lives juxtaposes the naivete of the high school sitcom with the real life drama that happens behind the scenes.

Racist caricatures along with a pretty played-out premise. Also, the trailer felt too long.
