Synopsis

Dean and Quinton are two dopey computer hackers who live in the shadow of their dead friend and mentor Donald Chen - Father of Megadawn. Carrying on in Donaldʼs footsteps, Dean and Quinton attempt to infect the large retail chain Mall-Mart with the Megadawn computer virus. To the pair's surprise the virus starts to spread and mutate far quicker than expected. Rozar, an apathetic pizza delivery guy, gets wrapped up in the duos bumbling when they canʼt pay for the strange pizzas heʼs hawking. Before long the neighbourhood falls into chaos with street vandals and overgrown pizza toppings running amuck.
Will Dean, Quinton and Rozar be able to stop Megadawn, and save the world?!

Mo Barrett

Director, Producer

Mo Barrett is an award-winning filmmaker and director from Vancouver. He was born in Iran on March 7, 1989. At the age of 5, his family immigrated to Canada. It was then that Mo was introduced to the great films of the western world, and the craft of filmmaking that would later become his life.

Ashton Wilson

Writer, Producer

- East Vancouver filmmaker, writer and musician. Recently wrote and produced the comedic web series “Dudemates” for YouTube. Currently writing a Chinese action film, an animated-comedy noir and a children's TV show about art history. Ashton also plays classical piano and composes music for a variety of projects ranging from clay animation to music videos.

Virginia Rose

Producer, Marketing / Social

She studied acting and production Langara College, and has starred and acted in several short films, including "Hello! My Baby", "Dylan", and "Sweetheart." She has also delved into the world of producing with the epic comedy, short film Megadawn". Other than acting, Virginia is passionate about politics, and has plans to finish her bachelor's degree in economics.

I like how you incorporated the teaser format as a kind of in-joke, although viewers might want more of a payoff than that. Still, it's an interesting premise. I'll keep an eye on you guys.
