Nanny Walbourne gets a call from her sister Pauline telling her all about the Comedy Coup 2014. Nan's imagination runs wild with all of the different adventures she could have around town. Nan builds bird houses, reads tarot cards and is always there to help a friend. With her flyers in hand Nanny Walbourne will find all de bargains while having fun with her friends and loved ones along the way.

Synopsis

Watch as Nanny Walbourne takes a spin on the normal everyday shopping trip in St. John's and turns it into a series of run-ins, adventures and hi-jinxes! With her loving, friendly Newfoundlander nature, Nanny Walbourne will make a hilarious situation out of anything she comes across! Whether it's with charm, luck or a little bit of elbow grease, Nanny with the new set of weekly flyers in her purse will make her way to the bargains at the stores. Fall in love with rest of the family including Nanny's husband Alowishus, her daughter Rhonda and her sister Pauline. Don't forget about all of her grandchildren that drop over to the house for a visit. You never know just what she's gonna do next.

Acting, directing, writing, plus the day to day marketing and managing of the brand and character of Nanny Walbourne. I always got a treat for me youngsters working hard away for their nanny.

There is something just amazingly better about the cadance of the East coast. I had to write a newfoundlander into my concept for the sheer charm of it. I can see this project with legs. cheers.

Seriously? This was so great. Sassy old man/woman? This character should go straight to 22 minutes. Would love to see her commentary on youth. (Probably be understanding of them. And hilarious. I could write a few segments for that!!!!)

As crazy/bizarre as it sounds, I think nan needs bigger cans to be that 'Newfie Nan' we all know and love - we have to remember she's probably had eight or nine little piglets 'h'at 'er teat', so we don't need to be lookin' nar gawkin', just respectin'. Is the premise going to be one of 'day in the life' of Nan, or will she have a broader 'purpose'?
