Synopsis

Geoff and the Ninja is a story about a down on his luck guy and the unlikeliest of frenemies. An absurd turn of events leads Geoff on a desperate search for a roommate to keep a roof over his head. When a dangerously unpredictable, all-powerful ninja is the lone body to answer the call, he has no choice but to accept. At first Geoff thinks his luck has only gotten worse. Soon though, he realizes there's more to the ninja than meets the eye and that their meeting was perhaps more than chance.

GATN is a unique, visual spectacle in comedy. Playing on tropes of anime action and over-the-top, mystical warriors, it breaks new ground in a live action comedy with its style and substance.

My path to filmmaking started like any other - sitting in a hot tub the day after prom, imagining a giant spider monster hanging from the rafters. We didn't have a spider monster - but we had a monkey mask, and that was good enough for us. A dream was born and after several years in the TV and video production industry, I'm here taking the next great step in its pursuit!

I have been a passionate film maker since the time I first picked up my parents' camera when I was ten. We have entered several film festivals over the last few years and now I'm out of school and working as a physiotherapist. My film passion has been the main focus outside of work, with the goal to turn it into a full time job eventually.

I giggled the first time I had watched this and I still do every time I look at it. Want more! Week 2. Funny to watch you guys again. Good mix of truth and the show. Great week 3. Kept to the project while staying with the characters. Post B by default! Week 5 shows you have more technical ability than you would expect from amateurs! Week 6 Show us that there isn't any new twist to a project that you can not handle. I watched this over and over and each time I see something that I missed last time that makes me laugh. if this goes to Prime Time you have to put out a DVD so that I can watch it many times to catch al that jokes that you put in each scene!

I never met Geoff although I see he lives here in Prince George....He's funny , a bit creepy too. He really makes me laugh some of his expressions. Anakin (4 yrs. old) says "Nana I wanna watch the creepy funny guy on your computer " LOL Please don't find out where I live LOL.

Totally reminds me of web series like The Guild or Legend of Neil, which I love. Granted I've watched only a handful of short videos now, but I've laughed through all of them. I need to see more of this. The way I need to breathe air. Well, maybe I won't die without it. But I might die inside a little bit. *dramatic pause* The point is I like it a lot and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Week 1: This show looks like it would be so much fun! I don't think there has ever been a show with this type of idea. So many concepts are done over and over and over and over and over..... and this seems refreshing, like it would be one of those shows you would want to come home and have some laughs to after a tough day at work. I really want to see what else they have in store!
Week 2: It looks like you guys are an underdog in the competition! Great to meet the team, you guys are hilarious and liked the part where you see the green screen.
Week 3: I loved how you went about completing this mission, you highlighted why you are different in a comedic way, I liked using the TV as a prop to highlight how they are in a show, very creative.

I am not really sure what to think about this? It stays within the "guidelines" that I feel is appropriate for Prime Time. I am not sure that it is interesting enough to keep my attention week to week?

Funny stuff! That pants part was a perfect ending to the clip. This is a type of Canadian show that makes TV worth watching. Corner Gas did that for me and a story about a neighbourhood ninja would rock! I love ninjas, everybody does. ;)
