You can never really go back home, except when you have to because you're broke and home is Welland.
What if you had to go back home? Phoning It In is a work and life-place comedy about two siblings who gave it their all in the big city, and their all wasn't good enough. They've had to swallow their pride and come crawling back to their small hometown of Welland, Ontario with their tails between their legs. Now they're back applying to work in the same call centre they left after high school.

Dan Dingwall is a comedy writer and short filmmaker from the Toronto area. Dan's a graduate of the EFI Professional Acting Program and the Second City improv Program. Dan has a passion for music. He's a polished drummer featured in such local Toronto bands as Claw, Fabo and The Devilles, and the David Cotten project.
Nick Watson rocked out a couple of high school sketch movies which gave him a taste for writing. He followed that up with a degree in English and Film where he helped write and produce an on campus soap opera, and fourth year short film. Since Uni, he's been working in the financial sector, visiting pubs and had a family. So I guess he can chalk that up to research.
