Hamilton's self-appointed Ninja Laureate dispenses his special brand of justice. Randy Justice.
View ProjectThis show is different because it blends absurd comedy with 90s-era beat-em-up action. The Naked Gun meets Bloodsport. This video is meant to show how we'll incorporate comedy and original music, and to showcase our two potential Canadian stars - action movie legend and Sons of Anarchy recurring Jeff Wincott, and the talented Kaitlyn Leeb (Heartland).

Good production, good videography and audio work. The budget would go to good use for taking it up a notch too! Good luck!
The concept of the show is great and I think you guys are great even though you're from Hamilton;) Keep up the good work and good luck with the rest of the competition.
interesting video. I think you guys are different from a lot of the other entries and wish you good luck in the next voting round. Keep the funny coming!
Very interesting video, and take on keeping it familiar. The chemistry is great between you and I am interested in seeing where you are going with this. good luck!
Great job on this weeks mission! Continue doing what you are doing and good luck in the rest of the competition.
I like the tough guy trying to be funny scenario. It would have to have more vocabulary to take the show places. My interest was there all through trailer.
Its not very colorful , dark shots are for the scary scenes and some of the details gets lost when filming in the dark.
Hope you succeed.
Let the ninja kicks to the nuts begin. lol

funny stuff here! i admit i didn't follow you guys from the start but i am onboard now! good luck!
I agree that you did a lot with the budget! You guys are doing something unique with the whole action angle.
The amount of work put into this pilot is astounding with probably a measly budget. Bravo
Interesting concept- I would've never thought of a ninja crime fighting TV show to hit Canada, but I could be wrong. The absurdity and ridiculousness can be enjoyed by almost all ages-very good for a show on CBC. I wish you'd choose another main actor though, Im not much of a fan of him. Best of luck anyway.
I liked your action movie and thought it was funny. It made me laugh. With more creative ideas, I can see that this could be a CBC Comedy on TV. I wish you luck. And I think others would like it.
Thanks Bernard.
LETS DROP RED AND WHITE TURDS OF JUSTICE ON ANYONE WHO GETS IN RANDY JUSTICE'S WAY!
Justice prevails!!!
Funny fight scene. How are you going to build on this? With more funny fight scenes..... Can't wait.
First flick I've seen tonight featuring a pot yieding fury cock-punch mega combo.... So it's got that going for it.
Amazing fuckin music
Impressive results from Katana's unconventional interrogation and search. Hilarious foot work. Looking forward to plot development and more original humor.
terrible fuckin music
Olaf V are you just rating these teasers based on their technical expertise. You are missing the point. CBC is looking for new material, they already have technical people. Lighten up and stop rating the videos so low!!!!!
Had some really good parts and liked the fish scene but were the sound effects were out of sync? Did seem to be all over the place but thought it had some potential. Hope to see you in the next round.
90's style action is awesome. the boner/dick punching joke is great. also like the mask and fish fighting alot. Might be a bit all over the place for a primetime weekly show but i definitely laughed
Enjoyed that fight scene! Enjoyed the Massive Explosion shirt cameo; I still wear mine! Out of all the projects I've seen in this competition, this is the one I see the whole story the best for. Not that it's predictable, but a lot of the other stuff seems more sketch based, where as I can picture sort of how this will go in broad terms. It leaves me already invested in the story and excited to see how it plays out!
Thanks Vanessa! If you liked our previous stuff you will love the pilot we've written. We appreciate your support.
Had me laughing, the Dual-Wielding Spanish Mackerel scene with the sounds effects were great
Thanks Sheldon. If that's your hair, kudos. You'd fit right in around here.
the fight scene was very well done. Must have taken a long time to choreograph. I just would have liked to see more character development.
Hi Carly, thanks for your comment. While we have developed characters and funny dialogue - those aren't things that set us apart from the competition. Per the mission, we simply focused on what differentiates this pitch from others - action. I hope you get a chance to read our script and see how all of the elements come together.
Good stunt, some funny stuff and great action! The videos reflects well who you are and what you want to do. I am just not sure that it is what the population of Canada wants to see on CBC and follow.
Hi Monique, we hope to put that doubt to rest with the remaining challenges, if we get the chance. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Why would you leave that mask on to fight? You lose all your peripheral vision! Oh, wait, Randy Justice is just that tough.
I really needed someone to ask "is that a Jose-Bautista-smoking-a-cigarette-mask?"
Seriously, does anyone agree that mask kind of looks like Jose Bautista smoking a cigarette?
Randy left the mask on to fight because he lives in NYC and we were shooting in Hamilton. In fact, that's the only reason there was a mask at all. Oh, and LOL on the Jose Bautista thing. He would be devastated to hear it, but it made me laugh. Thanks for watching.
haha omg this is great! Especially with the rise of vigilante shows (mainly superhero shows but still) I'd love to see this Canadian comedy version. Serious face with silliness going on!
"Serious face with silliness going on" should probably be our tagline. Thanks Sarah!
youse guys are friggin turkeys! keep at 'er!
This video is shot so well, I was really impressed with the production on the whole thing. It was hilarious, I especially enjoyed the wheelchair fight! Ridiculous but in a very funny way. Good luck guys, keep it up!!!
Thanks Bob!
This speaks to me on such a deep level.
This looks interesting. THe characters seem well thought out
Looking forward to showing you a lot more...
this looks like a great cast and an interesting premise. crime fighting in canada. a vigilante in a canadian sort of way. funny and weird and slightly random. canada needs another naked gun, slapstick, comedy genius to emerge. keep it up!
Thanks!
Holy Mackerel ! Love the girls determination and the use of available material/props. Original material rather than copied. Looking for more dialogue in future clips. Great foot work.
This is going to be so awesome. I wouldn't expect any less from these geniuses! They truly crafted my whole sense of humor. If anyone deserves to win, it is these guys!
fish fights are the best. good work team and looking to see lots more justice distributed.
I can see how you are trying to go with the Naked Gun kind of humour, especially with your fish fighting scene but I worry that it's not really at the same level of humour as that movie. I'm sure you guys have it all figured out though. Good luck with the competition!
Thanks for the comment Christina, don't worry we'll get there!
This video is absolutely hilarious! I'm glad we finally get to see what this Randy Justice character is all about and watching him kick all kinds of ass is amazing. I think the fights are original and hilarious and I like how you edit them to be sped up in certain parts. Definitely has a 90s action feel but the comedy is certainly made for today's audience. It's perfect.
Looks like it would be a great show. I would watch it.
funny
Not nearly enough talking heads. Missed the point entirely.
There's something "fishy" going on in that town! HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ha ha! HA!
