Five friends fight evil in their weekly D&D game as a distraction from their turbulent lives.
View ProjectRoll For Damage is a comedy about five people who gather once a week to play a Dungeons and Dragons-esque pen-and-paper role-playing game. Their lives outside of the game are hilariously tumultuous and are often reflected in their “in-game” characters and scenarios. Not everyone understands fantasy role-playing, but with careful writing and a wicked art style, the in-game portions of the show come to life with clarity and intrigue.
Fave 26Thanks Karin, my favourite thing about Poster A is that it highlights Christine. Sadly, there are not very many projects on Comedy Coup that have strong female characters (played by actual women, not dudes in wigs).

I like Poster B. It expresses the show's distinctiveness, concepts, and potential to be a great show. It looks epic and creates excitement and intrigue for the next video.
Fantastic. All of it.
like the background
chose B for the cool-ass background, i want to print it out and colour it in with crayons
I ended up picking poster B, i like the visual FX that your team does
Thanks Sheldon, good luck in your quest to become uberfan.
Too Busy
Both posters were solid. I went with A I like the way showing some reality and one of the characters all drawn upon. But both posters get your message across quite well. Looking forward to the next challenge and how you tackle it!
Jeez guys, you don't use a d20 to roll for damage! You shouldn't be using a d20 in your logo. A d4 would be perfect! Though, a d12 would look more obvious.
d20s are more iconic, a layperson will have zero idea what a d4 is unfortunately. can't please everybody
Sounds like someone has never summoned a group of Vrocks to cast the Dance of Ruin.
I wish your top 55 mission image was the poster. Best of all.
B works for me -- you get a sense that the characters are real people, with hugely imaginative inner worlds backstoping their day-to-day lives.
I'm going to have to go with poster B. Someone has a great artistic talent and I find that it really brings out the concept in your show as seen in poster B. The art in poster A is great too as it relates nicely to your previous work, but I'm not sure how the background image there really fits with your concept.
Thanks for the feedback Christine. Excellent comment as always. I'm beginning to think that maybe the photo in in the bg of Poster A should have been a more recognizable Vancouver landmark. Maybe the entire skyline... Thanks again!
I'm glad to see you guys made it to the Top 55! Well deserved in my opinion! I can't wait to see more.
I'm obsessed with everything about your graphics. Amazing illustrations, love the use of colour, and your title art / logo is one of the best in the competition. Can't wait to see more!
I picked option A as I liked the close up of the characters and I really like the background, which looks like a famous bridge in Vancouver BC. Congratulations on making the top 55.

I like all the colors in your posters but I think they are a little busy. I loved your optional images and how you showcased each character and wrote a bit about them. Very effective strategy to show us more into the show with the use of posters.
I really like this shows visual effects and the posters do not disappoint!
No surprise - these are terrific. - Randy Justice
