Synopsis

Sad Reality is a unique blend of improvisation, vlogging, traditional sitcom, and man-on-the-street interviews. It follows the story of 3 introverts from Kensington market who are determined to sell the next big reality show. After a few unsuccessful pitch meetings with unimpressed execs, the friends embark on a road trip mission to create "the most successful Canadian reality show of all time".

Kristy LaPointe is an actress, comedian and writer with a penchant for blazers & kombucha. She sometimes gets mistaken for a middle school student and writes parodies of Samuel Beckett plays. She freelances for places like Thought Catalog, Reductress, She Does The City & She Knows.

Kristy can be found working on specs & pilots in between What Not To Wear marathons

Rabini Sergio

Talent, Writer

Sharjil acts and improvises and stuff. He used to be into finance and numbers. Sharjil is a graduate of The Second City’s Conservatory Program. His television credits include Global/NBC‘s Working The Engels and PBS Kids’ Odd Squad. He has also appeared in numerous commercials. He still uses hugging pillows because hugs are very important to him in all forms.

Adele Dicks

Writer, Talent

Adele is an actress, singer, undiscovered YouTube Sensation and pioneer of the "shirt over a dress" combo. When she isn't hanging around Second City, she can be found drinking and accidentally alienating every guy she's ever met.
