Synopsis

“10 Reasons why the show Self-Help is Hilarious!!…when I found out why, I was brought to tears” -- Point and click lists from stay-at-home bloggers undermine the value of the truly inspired new age philosophers who have dedicated their lives to serving others.

Self Help follows the stories of gurus and life coaches from all realms of thought and experience while they battle each other for the approval they so desperately seek.

Although some are sincere in their efforts, it seem dodging heavy baggage clients and taking on the easy case is the name of the game. At the end of the day the glory goes to whoever gains the most attention and popularity, didn’t need self-help to know that.

Team

Nathan Innes's Profile Image

Nathan Innes

Showrunner, Director

Nathan didn’t laugh until he was 7 years old, this is in part due to the fact that his first audible fart eagerly escaped during his 7th birthday.

While writing this profile, Nathan's comedic style has been described as ‘Revolutionary’ and 'iCarly-esque'.

Nathan still draws most of his comedy from that remarkable 7th birthday.

Blaze Lewis's Profile Image

Blaze Lewis

Talent, Writer

Blaze learned early that being cool wasn’t his fault, and that he would have to overcome his coolness.

He also learned that he wasn’t very good at writing biographies.

Tim Scott's Profile Image

Tim Scott

Writer, Marketing / Social

Tim, the reluctant hero, was accidently included as one of the team members for this project.

All efforts were made to remove him from the team but alas, he is still a member.

Chet Reegan made me laugh. Interesting looking character. I liked your facial expressions and body language. A no nonsense (all nonsense) king of a guy.

Amazingly diverse actor. I've seen many of his other projects, and each of his characters differs by such a wide margin that it's quite easy to forget who you're watching.

I like this concept, I think it has a lot of potential, but the character doesn't fully resonate with me yet. Would love to see how things develop, as I love laughing along with this topic/industry.
