Besties Jess and Natalie have a podcast about periods/sex/vaginas. They are thankful they live in a kinda progressive place. If they didn't, it would be a nightmare... Faisal - our roommate!

Jess and Natalie's easily squeamish, laid-back, socially awkward, yet incredibly sweet roommate Faisal (played by all-star comedian Faisal Butt) tolerates the girls’ open and honest lifestyles but truly wishes they would leave fewer menstrual cups in the dish rack to dry. He also doesn't appreciate them bleeding all over his bean bag chairs, offering Plan B to his dates, and telling his mom that from what they hear through the walls he's excellent at oral sex.

Jess and Natalie

Along with getting to know the inner workings of their vulvas and telling tales about the inner workings of their vulvas, Jess and Natalie both have soul-sucking day jobs that they wish their vulvas could escape. Jess works a menial gig as an administrative assistant at a ruthless kid’s toy company and Natalie is a sales clerk at a high-end clothing store for dogs where she has almost been fired three times for wearing tiaras meant for puppies outside of the store. Their podcast is an escape from the monotony of their 9 - 5s.

Zabrina - our landlord!

Jess and Natalie's high-energy, in-your-face, oddball landlord Zabrina (played by all-star comedian Zabrina Chevannes) lives in the apartment beneath them and constantly shares her own outrageous menses stories with her tenants which are for sure made-up. She loves to tell tales, especially ones about her outrageous family and hilarious kids. Zabrina acts like a mother figure to Jess and Natalie, giving them life advice, love advice, and pad advice, which they often don't take because that advice involves wearing a legit diaper.

Jess and Natalie

Jess and Natalie have an epic friendship like no other. They are platonic soul mates/unmarried sister-wives/kindred spirits/bloody powerful women and are total opposites in personality. Jess is paranoid, flirtatious, argumentative, overly responsible and despises The Kardashians. Natalie is careless, bubbly, disorganized, overly spontaneous and IS a Kardashian (in her ultimate reality). But despite their differences they have four major things in common: they love each other, they’re hardcore feminists, they’re insanely loud, and their favourite topic of discussion is MENSTRUATION.

Dr. Catherine - our gynecologist!

Of course Jess and Natalie's no nonsense, brutally honest, wisecracking gynecologist Dr. Catherine (played by comedy all-star Catherine McCormick) is a regular fixture in the show. She's the one who tells them repeatedly that they're not pregnant when they're 100% sure they are 'cause their periods are 2 hours late. Dr. Catherine has become one of their closest friends due to them routinely calling her at 4 am to ask why their vaginas smell weirder than they usually do and inviting her over for fancy dinners in exchange for unnecessary Pap smears.
