I really like the approach this team took to their hype video. It's the only one I've seen like it -- a strong argument for a team having a unique vision -- and it was executed well, with a slick presentation. The dating landscape has definitely changed, and it seems like you recognize that this fact is your greatest ally. This could be a funny, topical, relatable show.

This project has lots of confidence and polish. Good actors and personalities. I know what I'm gonna get from this project. A lead that I can see myself staying curious about how she will deal with the many awkward situations I'm sure the writing will put her in. If the top 15 is in the future. I wish you all the best.

The video did a fair job of showing that the show is topical, but it didn't really show how it will be funny, and why people would want to watch it. Just saying "I would watch it" isn't enough, what is the reason?

Not sure about this one, but maybe that's just because the eHarmony commercials lied to me. Not sure if this thought is going through anyone else's head, but here it is: How well is a show about online dating going to develop real character relationships when it's mostly, um, online? It could work, but the "confident professional who's cynical about love" feels very familiar, and I don't know how well people are going to be willing to follow that for even one season. But, as I always say, writing and characters can save any show, so best of luck!

I have a friend who has tried to find his" girl to be" on an on line dating sight. He has not been successful yet, due to the lack of his typing skills and poor grammar... well that could be a show in itself. Watch for an outcome of that fiasco. I like the concept and the potential for shows that could be "on line dating" horrors or jokes. It would be worth watching.

Sex sells. good looking red head with dildo, a banana, a condom. ok. we get it. this is all very surface level. Everyone likes a good tease but where oh where is the depth, Pun Intended. It's a good premise but I find you've been playing the same joke since week one. Is that what this show will become? I know you're not given a lot of time to prep material but I know there's more to the creators of this show than just the surface level humor you are leaving us with. Expect more from yourselves.

I think the best part of taking this to the street was that it showed your crew ability to shoot a completely different style than what you've presented so far. What we need to talk about though was your upgrade from cucumber to...what is that? an eggplant? Look, my friend says if you know what you're doing you can do an eggplant's job with a cucumber. Just sayin'.

Well if you want to find out if people will be interested in the whole concept of on-line dating for a show...taking it to the streets to find out is a perfect idea! Asking people in person how they feel about it (and if they're doing it) is a fun way to get a feel for who your audience might be. Maybe you also gathered some great story line material from them(?)...after all who wouldn't watch if they thought their dating experience might get turned into an episode! Good job!

While it is really nice that this show works against the taboo of talking about sex onscreen, "the dangers" were weirdly absent here so I'm not sure how to connect this video to your show's title and premise. Also this video could have done self-promotion more creatively. The "taking to the streets and interviewing a few people" approach was pretty common throughout all of the week 5 videos. Well, good luck!

I must admit that the idea of yet ANOTHER show about dating on the air makes me sigh, but even so I would have liked to see you incorporate the concept of dating in real life into your live event. Instead, you opted for a boring team up. You could have hosted a funny "Dating Game" type event or something a bit more creative.

If it's gonna focus on more than one online dater? There should be one guy. Who has the worst luck! And just can't catch a break. And when he meets the people. They're always transvestites, (Really men) old grandpas, reptilians, old grandmas, cannibals, wanted by the cops, etc. Since that's actually one of the dangers that goes with online-dating. And that would make the show really funny.

I really liked the layout of your sell sheet and how you incorporated online dating into the sheet, very effective. However, I felt it was a little wordy and making it more visually appealing could have enhanced it even more. Best of luck in top 15.

I really liked your approach here. You've hit on two of everyone's favorite things; sex and the internet, which is mostly used for sex. Interviewing people on the street is smart, since they don't need to already know the premise of your show to be able to comment on the subject matter. Good job overall! Also, I'll never get tired of seeing pictures of Paula holding a phallus. My only critique is that you need more pictures like that.

The way the promo is framed will draw people to watch the series. It's quite clever. What I have a hard time differentiating is between the "man on the street" and the acutal show segments. That's mainly an artifact of the really high quality production work. Normally a "man on the street" bit is a bit less polished.

I think you have a great, clear premise with a topic that we're not seeing on television. I enjoyed hearing the creator talk about the show. I think your tagline is one of the best in ComedyCoup.

I thought this video fell a little flat because it stayed on the surface. I think this group is very creative and I'm waiting for you to bring us behind the curtain of "online dating" and get into the nitty gritty of the ethics, etiquette, and situations that are less obvious.

This video did a good job of reminding me about your main concept... just the idea of meeting people online and the potential in those kind of crazy stories. I think the limitations in previous videos have been if I didn't identify with your leads or their more 'overt' sexuality.

Your title is catchy, your leads have great camera presence, and I thought this was a quick paced and engaging pitch. I like how you choose a range of ages and genders to interview. This topic lends itself to so many story lines that many viewers can relate to. Stay edgy, not cliche! Well done and good luck in reaching the top 15!

I thought that this week you did a nice job in answering the given mission and did so in a humorous way. I suppose you could have emphasized your concept a little more, but I think you did a good job at getting it's point across. Also good work on the Kamloops This Week article and good luck with your event. I think it's really smart for teams to get together in doing the event, great work.

This viseo was excellent. Love that you took it "to the streets". Online dating is more the norm now than ever before. This could make a great sitcom.

This show continues to be one of my personal favourites in this competition. I there's a lot of potential for this show to do really well and appeal to a wide audience. I'd love to see some more diverse online daters introduced as we move along (different ages, genders, races, cultural groups, etc.) Seems, much like online dating websites, there are a lot of options and directions in which this show could go!

First time watching something from this group and the video has not changed my initial doubts. Yes lots of people are doing it but the demographic is rather particular, urban and young-ish. Not to say there isn't enough interest to get this going just that it isn't my thing in the same way that Sex and the City wasn't my thing. I'd be concerned with longevity since, like the on-line dating world, eventually you've gone through all the profiles.

I think this video would've worked better for the week 3 challenge. I like your concept and I see how it is culturally relevant but this video did not "hype" the show for me so to speak. I would like to see something new. I love this concept and think it has great potential but the videos have just fallen flat for me. I think with your subject matter and your target demo you could use a more "in you face" marketing campaign.

Hey team! I think this video is really great! It's a good take on the mission, well shot, really polished.

Maybe this is just me being bitter from having no free time these past few weeks, but I'm a little disappointed that you're just resubmitting content from when you entered this project in Cinecoup.

Still one of my favourite concepts for a show. I think this could really work on the CBC. I also appreciate that you seem to know your audience and are able to enhance your attributes that will sell this show. We all know sex sells and your team seems to handle the sexiness in a tasteful, not overbearing way. Looking forward to seeing what you do next and good luck with the top 15!!!

I have been following your team and watching your videos, for this weeks mission I think you had a good strategy of going to the street to see if people would watch the show and using that as a way to promote to the press for why they should cover you. However, I would have liked to have seen a bit more humour from you guys while doing it.

yup! great choice with the live on the street interviews... added a ton of credibility to the pitch. i am in a lot of comedy clubs and there is always 'at least' one comic who hits the plenty fish and tinder jokes hard. you definitely have a show that people will want to watch. PS - there is a dude name XAN with a horse and a sarong who wants to meet you on tinder. go find him. #BeABuddyGuy
