The misfits of a small-city comedy troupe struggle to dream and survive in the middle of nowhere.
View ProjectThe Troupe explains their Three Diffs: their original format, their meta-ness, and the City of Saskatoon (now with buses!).
Fave 25 Views 327This is really great- playful. Love that it seems to both be mocking and honouring Saskatoon. Go prairies go!

I love the punny-ness as well as your familiarity with each other. You have a natural comfort in front of the camera. Good Luck!
this weeks video made me laugh it was really funny. too bad you didn't make it through to the next round. I hope the best for you guys and I love the idea.
I liked your week 3 entry as well, was good and funny, gives me the idea that you can put together some decent sketches
It was okay, I'm not sure about the character development through the series. Also, I think production needs some improvement. Some parts are a bit disturbing so not sure what demographic it's aimed towards.
Good luck during this week of voting. Keep up the solid word and I'll be looking forward to seeing what you guys do next
I have a hard time believing that this show has a lot of potential depth. It's good on the surface but I can't help but feel like there is still a lack of long term plan for how this show and is characters can evolve.
you guys look natural in front of the camera but the week 3 video is still not telling me what this show will really be about. Keep working.
I like this for all the reasons!!
Thanks and huzzah!
Ah, Saskatoon. Definite comic potential in that city!
Right?! Thanks!
This is really great- playful. Love that it seems to both be mocking and honouring Saskatoon. Go prairies go!
So much potential in this city for playful and poignant comedy. ...that's alota "p's"
:-)
Still trying to figure out how to vote but once I do it'll be for you, and not just cuz some old friends are on the team.
Thanks, Delia!
It is wonderful to see such amazing talent coming from Saskatchewan! There are not many submissions in this competition from Saskatchewan. This one is very well done! Show the world what the prairies can do. :)
Thanks, Court!
We sure hope we can get the chance!
Good Luck Saskatoon!
Thanks!
Looks like you guys have a lot of fun in the making of your videos. I find that great as it doesn't seem so fake to the audience and they can get in on the jokes too. I'm still a bit unclear about your concept, is it just a bunch of sketches? I'm not too certain about the potential it has for a series, but it's great you guys are having fun doing it. Good luck guys!
Thanks Christina!
Yes, the series centers around a sketch comedy group, and the trials and tribulations they face as individuals and as a collective. So sketches are a part of our concept, not the full idea. =)
Again, thanks!

Love the nod to Kids in the Hall at the beginning.
Thanks!
I wanted to vote for #thetroupe but it ended up being a full on contractual investment...giving blood now to earn votes.
Also, thanks a bunch!
Lololol "giving blood now to earn votes".
So much agreement. I sold a kidney already.
I love the Cymbalism. Although, Not quite sure I follow how your TV show is going to work. But there's still many more missions to go. Best of luck!
Thanks! Yes, we're hoping to convey more and more of our meta-ness throughout the missions. They aren't kidding when they call them "challenges"! Thank you for your input! Do you have a show submission, or a show you are related to? Thanks!
Good things come from Sask-catch-ewan! Good luck with your project 'catching on' and gaining more and more followers.
Clever! Love it! Many thanks!
#Youbintosaskatoon? Drove through a few times at night...The other Winnipeg. Followed and faved. - Shirts
Lol The Other Winnipeg! Thanks for the follow and fave! I've been following and faving you guys from day one. Holla!
There definitely needs to be more Kids in the Hall references in the world - great job!
Thank you!
One more reason to visit Saskatoon.
You know! We're more than bridges and berries! <3
