"The Lease" is a mockumentary about four random roommates. It's like "Friends". Except they're not.
View Project"The Lease" is a mockumentary set in St. John's, NL. When Ryan, a hopeless romantic, surprises his girlfriend with a new house, she bails and leaves him with a hefty mortgage. Upset and drunk on caesars, he turns to the computer and writes an ad: "Searching For Roommates To Fill Void Left By Awful Wench". Pretty soon, he has three complete strangers knocking on his door and into his life.

I like what you are doing. I think there is a lot of potential: the acvtors work really well together and I think the art direction has been well thought out.
Good first effort, very likable protagonist, some good moments ("your door is too small"). May not be escapist enough to do well long term.
Cute idea! Definitely think this is something I would watch on TV. The actors/actresses have great chemistry
I like the idea, it's very much like the office..maybe if you change the tone to make it more upbeat.
I didn't quite get the doc feel, but the set up is a good one, the family, happy or not, is the root of so much sit com material, and for a good reason, it works.
Enjoyed the teaser. Looks like the kind of show that I would enjoy watching. As long as we stray a bit from tv tropes
These roommates will eventually learn to hate each other and then they will know how I feel after watching this teaser.
