The world is a big waste according to four friends who spend most of their time discussing zombies while getting drunk and high. When the dead actually do rise they must use their limited knowledge and skills to survive.
Wasted breaks the rules of prime-time comedy with edgy multicultural characters and situations that pokes fun at race, religion, taboo topics, and the zombie genre itself. This show will present how they deal with the world before and during the zombie outbreak, often resorting to the past in order to face the future.

This series is witty, has a great theme, insanely multicultural, they represent different religious backgrounds, have a strong female lead, has a Zombieland/Pineapple Express type humor, the list goes on. I truly feel Wasted has the best representation of our country....and BONUS who doesn't want to see a post apocalyptic version of Canada??!!

    i give ya'll 5000xp points!

Lets take a zombie humor idea, and shove in pot references for no reason whatsoever. When a show would be better off without it's own theme, there's a problem.

Stoners hunting zombies is a bit hackneyed but the actors are great. I thought the photography was very good. It is silly young men humour but then that can be very funny. I laughed out loud at all three trailers.

7 reasons to vote for ‘Wasted’ in CBC’s ComedyCoup
We are two guys from Finland, recording a podcast just for the hell of it. Rafael is German and Arttu is Finnish. This time we have a guest by the name of Steve Kasan. He’s one of the people behind the Canadian zombie comedy show Wasted. We talk about making the show, his other projects and future endeavours and end by playing a round of The People Have Spoken

Our podcast contains politically incorrect language, science, odd things from around the globe, and other general nerdery.
In this episode of The Zombie Commission Report, Patient Zero reviews Zombie Dice from Steve Jackson Games and talks to the guys behind Wasted, a 30 minute zombie sitcom that almost made it to Canadian television. We wrap things up by combining the two and creating the world’s first zombie themed drinking game… Zombie Dice: Wasted.
I stumbled upon these dudes on one of my random zombie searches one day, and I’ve been facinated ever since! Now Canadians are naturally witty, but these guys threw zombies into the mix and how could I resist interviewing three funny, zombie loving Canucks? Really it’s just a no brainer I know you’re gonna love them! So check em out!
One Geekified Interview: Steve Kasan, from Wasted The Series
This week on Transmissions From the Evil Lair actor/writer Steve Kasan drops by to talk about his latest project, Wasted, with Big Evil, C-Mart and Undies of Wondy! Steve describes Wasted as The Walking Dead meets Community, so if you’re a fan of the horror comedy mash up then it should be right up your alley. Steve and the gang talk about creating Wasted, where he plans on taking the series and then delve into TV, movies, and a bunch of other pop culture touchstones!
In this episode of HaunTopic Radio, we discuss the making of ‘Wasted’ with Steve Kasan, actor and producer, and the journey the crew has been on as they try to make this TV Show a reality.

Ideas to concept. Acting while working a day job. Film competitions. Producing on a budget. Marketing a Zombie comedy to the masses. And how to survive it all!
What happens when four slacker friends find themselves in the midst of a zombie apocalypse within the Great White North? Adrian & Atlas are about to find out! Your podcasting heroes sit down with filmmaker Steve Kasan, the co-creator of the web series Wasted. This week the guys welcome Steve Kasan from the upcoming show Wasted to discuss his show and the competition that the show is in to get on air. Steve also sticks around to talk with the geekz about some collecting, and going off the rails.

Just in time for Halloween your normal crew of survivors are joined by two very special guests, Lance and Sid, who are part of the team responsible for a new zombie show called Wasted!
"...Comedy is a hard thing to get right, there were a couple of fun parts in their pitch (that can also be viewed on the site)..."
"...I never thought of what The Walking Dead world would look like if our group of survivors were less, let’s say, adept than Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon. The show Wasted is precisely that, a look at the other side of the spectrum. In speaking with the team behind Wasted we learned that they really are trying to take on a whole new approach to the zombie apocalypse story..."
"...The show looks very original, and kinda reminds me of Shaun of The Dead as well, where the zombies aren't over the top super-decayed zombies, and the humor element that's in there too...."
