Canada needs a clear cut show like this that hold no punches. Comedy shows in Canada are very tame except for a few like Trailer Park Boys. The cast looks amazing and what they are doing with the genre for zombies is just getting me very excited, Hoping this makes it through if not some other network better pick this show up.

Way to go on your comedy coup efforts to date. You have succeeded in making it to the top 55 and that is something to be proud of. Already the competition is getting tough as the quality of the competitors gets refined. Best wishes for making it to the next level.

I think the concept of a truly Canadian apocalypse/zombie film/show could be fantastic, even in a media landscape that is perhaps over-saturated with zombie matieral…. Having said that, I become instantly worried when the hype video to promote what is supposed to be a unique zombie-apocalypse vision begins with a joke derived straight from Shaun of the Dead, one of the most well-known zombie comedies. The potential is there for this to be something really original…. let's see that.

What funny way to deliver the end of the world and of course beer is the most important thing to save. I love this and hope to see this on the CBC next year.

Honestly this has the potential to become an iconic show in Canadian television history. Am I overselling it? Maybe. But this show has a diverse cast and last time I checked Canada is one of the most diverse countires in the world. With shows like Walking Dead being popular, now is a great chance to deconstruct not only the zombie genre but the entire post-apocalyptic genre as well with a Canadian twist. And who doesn't like a bunch of stoners? They're always fun to hang around with. Well most of the time. I hope this show gets a series

This whole competition seems to be headed up by hide representation from the two coasts. I wonder if perhaps at some point they may actually break competitors into east vs west. That might be worth a laugh or two.

Quite the competition from the east to the west coast and such an excellent group of participants makes it hard to pick just 15. I hope CBC gives you each a coffee mug or something for getting to the top 55. Best wishes to all.

This is a pretty topical show, with Walking Dead being popular and zombie movies popping up everywhere. I think the video could have shown a little bit more of the comedy side though.

Its kinda corny delivery, but I guess we should expect that kind of delivery for this mission. Female character is the strongest. Great hair and makeup. I really don't like the logo.. unless the intent is to make it look like 1998 imaging. Keep at it! This is a popular genre for you to produce!

i dont really get this i dont understand why people like zombies so much i think maybe this might work as a movie but for a tv show on primetime i dont think a lot of people would watch this especially not families i think it is a bit too strange for my tatste

Canada + zombies = something I want to watch! I see a lot of comments on how zombies are overdone (true), but if something is done well and introduces new ideas then I'm willing to give it a chance. Zombies are just the starting point, it's what happens from there that will tell if something's good. Looking forward to seeing more about this!

the setting is really adding a lot to the motion of this picture. perhaps including a bit more musical and graphical effects can help you guys go a long way

Zombie films are great; but I don't know about a weekly show.

Holy sweet jesus, I'm sick of zombies, so if you guys can bring a fresh angle I guess that would be great. I did see a few fun looking clips in there, so maybe that can happen. And apparently the public's thirst for zombies doesn't seem like it can be quenched so maybe I'm just not "with it".

i heard you guys on the edge so i thought i'd check you out. congrats on getting such an endorsement but i have to second the opinions that zombies are a bit overdone. maybe if seth rogen had done this project id have been more interested. i hate to do this, but i gotta pull a line from Dragon's Den on this one: "I'm out."

Zombies are good, but zombies are overdone and apart of a lot of skits and such. Although a decent angle for comedy, I can't really say I could see an alcoholic watching this (wasted?). However, being that I do like zombies, you do have my curiousity.

While I'm not a Zombie fan myself, there seems to be no end in sight of Walking Dead fans. Slacker friends to actually look forward to a Zombie invasion ... lots of room for symbolism, metaphors, innuendo, and life lessons ... who am I kidding ... lol. Getting wasted before you waste-em before they waste you.

I don't like this. Sorry. Find it not funny and could tell what was going to happen plus the action effects are pretty bad but not funny so.

I'm not sure if I've bought into this this yet. I've been watching since week one and there seems to be a lot going on. If you can keep the right mix of zombie/funny you might have a shot.

I'm not too sure if I would be into watching a zombie show on TV. I understand it's meant to be a comedy but I see it being more of a horror than a funny sitcom. Seems like a hard concept to write about and keep on the entertaining side. Good luck!

I initially thought I was watching the week 3 video so closed it to double check, then realized it was new. I like what you added it did flesh it out a lot more. Never been a fan of zombie stuff but this has promise.

Zombie comedy TV series... I'm guessing we'll see an American version of this starring some big names soon enough. Actually, surprised there isn't a zombie or post-apocalyptic comedy series already.

Loving the apocalyptic theme. Zombies and comedy seem to have a mix like no other, the monster and vampire concept does alright with comedy but there is something about zombies that just work with comedy.

OK, another entry in the zombies war. It may be an over-saturated market, as other shows are starting to capitalize on that theme (not just the dramatic, but the comedic ... "Town of the Living Dead," etc.). Still, it's a great concept, and a bit more tweaking could set it apart from the rest of the crowd. Congratulations on making it to the Top 55!

Loved the hype you created in the video good use of clips and gore but for me I'm not into the zombie thing so I'm not sure I'd be into the show. Loved watching the guy with the pierced eyebrow, he's a funny dude.

Though I didn't realize he was a part of this team, I've known Lance for a few years. He has a great sense of story and a passion for storytelling that should help you folks do well as you advance. I'd love to see some footage of the bad-ass, female zombie killer giving some tutorials on how to survive to the hyper-active fan boys who might see it as more of a game than a reality. I'm not the biggest fan of zombie stories so I'm not sure I would watch but something about these guys and their chemistry and humour definitely makes me want to tune in and give it a try. Maybe they'd change my mind about this genre...

Well you certainly have a good idea connecting with the Zombie loving crowd. I liked the ending when one of the actors crossed to the other side . He really did not look well ! Not sure how it would go week after week and stay funny but your promo media video was good . Good Luck
