That is not the direction we are headed in at all. There is a clear transition into Gio and Holly as themselves starting with "our show is a fun, fresh and hopeful way to speak into the hearts of every Canadian from coast to coast". That is where we are talking about why we see this show as being a show for every Canadian. The handheld and regular lighting were a choice we made to show when we were in real world opposed to when we were in TV world as Riccardo and Jackie. Yes! Got to love good marketing. Branding our show is important to us. It also is a really fun part in developing a TV show. There are so many layers to making a show that make it stand out. We love being right in there creating those materials too. Our extended team of designers, business brains, and artists have all had a hand in what you see today! Keep your eyes tuned in! That's a great question! I think Holly answered that well. The only thing I would add to that is that the Town of Tulip is building towards a bigger goal and dream. Paying the debt down is the first step in building a thriving artistic and tourist driven community. And honestly things might get a lot worse before they get better. Yes we have thought past that point... But we want all that to be a surprise.

Thanks Jacob for your praise and excellent questions! Our title answers that well, "Welcome to Tulip". The basis of our show is inviting the audience into a community of people who are growing into their own. Debt is a big problem, but it is only one problem people have to deal with in life. There is so much more that this artistic town is made up of. Every episode, scene, and moment of our show you will see that. If the debt ever goes away, the town will still be alive with characters and their stories. We have thought well ahead into the future. Great TV shows do last more than a couple of seasons and we are building a show that can do that. Stick with us in the coming weeks and I know you will see that! Vote away! Thanks Michael! We're giving our all to this. We tore down our house just to shoot that one scene. We're homeless now but hoping it pays off big time with a Prime Time Special and a series to boot!

Some of the footage we used was from a shoot at the beginning of September. The majority of the video that was Gio and I running around town, at the garbage dump, jumping in the ocean was shot all on the Thursday before the video was released. We try to use new footage every week but if something great can be used before from other shoots we are proud to reuse it. If it serves the story in a strong way we use it! The show and story of Welcome to Tulip is based in Alberta. You're right, there is no ocean there. Holly and I live in Vancouver so the whole 2nd half of the video is just her and I being ourselves hanging out with real working Canadians. Whether they work on a fishing boat in PEI, a cafe in Calgary, or an antiques shop on Vancouver Island our show speaks to the heart of every Canadian. Hope that clears things up!

hhahahaha thanks Mark! The west coast imagery was there when we were just being Gio and Holly talking about our show about town. I think if you see the way we cut into clips with telling our "TULIP story" it still comes across as small town on the prairies. For now just remember Gio and I are based in BC. We're not quite on location in AB yet! We're hoping to get the TOP 1 spot so we can be soon. I think any confusion will be history at that point. Really? You should try it! I grew up in a hotter climate than Canada myself so I am not typically used to the cold water. Quite refreshing and has the ability to numb your pinky finger for an hour afterwards! Never knew it could be that bad. Yes. Some of the shots you see are from Fort Langley. The others are in Chemainus! Two other great small communities of Canada with a lot of spirit and eccentric hearts. We have been so fortunate to film at amazing locations by the generosity of locals letting us use their property and spaces. This whole process has been incredibly rewarding in regards to really being able to get to know people in different areas. Forever grateful.
