Synopsis

Three immature and unfledged roommates (Stu, Zac, and Andy) cannot afford their internet bill and are now lacking their pop culture fix. To cope with their loss, they find refuge in the most reasonably priced form of entertainment - stolen cable. Hereafter the trio are magnetized by the programs they discover on their television set. Problems arise when their TV shows and social lives begin to coincide and react with each other, causing a dramatic and absurd twist of fate for three offbeat roommates.

'WHAT'S ON' is a hybrid television program that interbreeds sketch and situational comedy. It will dabble in cultural, political, and social humour while bathing itself in the absurd.

The teaser keeps most of the lead-ups obscured, but if the punches are any indication this is going to be one helluva funny thrill ride

Makes me think of an adult version of 'Squawk Box'; hopefully it can be fully fleshed into a 22-minute vehicle that isn't repetitive. It may be overflooded in the market right now with Robot Chicken on the scene and other comedy programmes shifting to 'short-style' sketches lasting short periods. Good luck and hopefully the jokes keep fresh.
