Synopsis

The Cottage is a place we can all relate to but not in quite the same way as these two guys. Brent is married with three kids and Peter is single and likes to hang out with Brent. Since Brent likes to escape his life as regularly as possible, he buys a "family" cottage that is, what one might call a "fixer upper". Peter is kinda handy and likes to drink beer, so he often accompanies Brent on these "fun" weekends. The phase "How many times do I have to say, this is one of the dumbest things we've ever done" is heard quite often. Along with "there...it's done....what do you think?" They're smart guys, it's just this whole thing is a little out of their competency zone.

What could be funnier than a show about the treasured pastime of working, laughing, and generally biting off more than one can chew at the family cottage. Brent is an engaging host with a wry wit. The stories are limited only by the courage (stupidity) of the perpetrators - i.e. limitless.
