Week #1 Show Teaser The Troupe

THE TROUPE: a half hour sketch comedy/sitcom hybrid that takes us behind-the-scenes with a sketch comedy troupe in the Canadian prairies.

Our pilot episode: "The Contest.” The Troupe vies to win an internet-based comedy competition to have their shot at fame, fortune, and validation.

Cast member Brent as Bents, wearing a panda bear head, in our "I Could Borrow that Panda Bear Head and Jump Chest-First into a W**mart Cake" sketch. (Based on true events.) As you can see, he has missed.

This is Dakota, our cast member/social media-er extraordinaire, in her get-up as Troupe member Mary-Ellen as "Beard Dog Member with Bandana" in our "Beard Dogs" sketch. As Jules and Brent held the lights for this shot, we asked Brad, "What's it look like?" Brad's answer: "Rock n' roll."
