Getting By is a quirky, fast-paced comedy series about the Dodge family. After his nude model wife Godiva leaves to tour the bedrooms of the rich and famous, Richard Dodge, the Clown Prince of Kensington, gets by just fine on the meagre income from his junk shop. But when his lucky charm of a daughter Ascot "Scotty" Dodge is accepted at the prestigious University of Toronto, Rich needs to haggle, dicker, and scheme to foot the tuition bill before Scotty gets the boot. Alongside Rich, Scotty will need the help of her addled Uncle Artie, free-spirited mother Godiva, and clueless friend Caitlyn in order to get by.
