Week #1 Show Teaser Mars Two

Mars Two is a comedy about six astronaut-rejects who agree to spend five years in a sealed martian habitat – braving sub-zero temperatures, recycled air, isolation, and a harsh alien environment. But there’s just one catch… They’re not on Mars, they’re in Canada.

The MARS TWO PROJECT is a Mars Colony Simulator and serves as a back up to the actual Mars One colony on the red planet. Mars Two works to troubleshoot problems and test procedures which could kill everyone on Mars, but will probably only sightly injure the crew of MARS TWO. They’re basically lab rats, only people don’t get all upset when you electrocute them.

First world rejects, Fourth world problems.

A great amount of care was clearly put into building the sets and the acting team seems capable but it's hard to detect the comedic voice.

Amazing production, but the story is left unclear and the comedy needs punching up.

Certainly is a different story line but thought it was going to be more lively and intense. Hope you make a comeback and bring what's needed in the next round.

You have a VERY experienced team and: therefore the expectations are VERY high. I do not see that there is enough content to go week to week and become a CBC prime time series.

You guys have a very strong team and have obviously worked hard on the production design/addition of advisers, etc.

However, for a clearly character-driven show (like any show set in an isolated scenario) we haven't got a chance to really meet the characters yet. Looking forward to more.
