Here, Here! I definitely agree that the pee and poo jokes are unoriginal as well as growing tiresome. Nuts and bolts: Another wild card whom deserved a seat at the top 110. Here's hoping that you get into the top 50. -Writer and Showrunner of "Table Scraps".

Well although there was only one person talking in video three, and one for the most part on video 1, you grabbed my attention. I wanted to know what you were about. I can see that there could be a lot of funny happenings in the show; you never know who you will meet next!

I've liked this team from the beginning and I can see this show on TV right now, but don't forget that you're competing in the digital realm! You will need the vote from younger audiences (and I can already tell this is lacking as many of your fans commenting here haven't uploaded a profile pic) so keep your challenge videos snappy and high-paced for those short attention spans. You've created an excellent character - you must keep us laughing at every challenge. Best of luck!
Thanks so much for the feedback Lindsey. The call to satisfy short attention spans, or not, is quite the relevant question. I'll let my co-creators speak to this, but my stance is that one has to make a creative and stylistic choice, which will appeal to some but not to all. Our writing is more subtle and dry and is driven by story and character and not necessarily a set-up/laugh a minute style. Our content here is also not the show itself and when we go into production, we'll have a diverse ensemble cast with young characters too!
I'm voting to see more Nuts and Bolts. How about this Monday?

We are encouraging people to join the conversation because that's how we'll get recognized. This project is starting from nothing so we don't have a pre-existing fan base helping us along. We see that as a good thing. As for the top 50, you'll be able to help make that happen by staying engaged with us, a strong and loyal fan base is important that's how shows like Arrested Development, Community, Family Guy and Futurama we able to continue despite their network's desire to prematurely cancel them.

As a senior citizen I really have a lot of respect for pee and poo, but at my age that sort of content is too serious and important to be funny any more. So I'd rather be entertained with something new and innovative, and I really think the clever team of Nuts and Bolts is really on to something!

I'll let my co-creators speak for themselves on this matter, but my stance is that toilet humour is just fine and it's true that the hardware store is a perfect setting to have fun with it and the more subversive elements. There is a difference between the gratuitous and the gratifying and we'll walk that line with wit and whimsy. Using such forms of humour judiciously, but not relying on them for an easy knee-jerk laugh is an art form and this is what separates us.

Ok Phil, that clever writer who mentioned pee and poo because they wanted to move past toilet humor actually hooked us into talking about it. So maybe it is what the public wants and doesn't realize it. So bring it on and show us how important pee and poo is in the hardware store.
Very original and a true differentiator that appeals to an intelligent audience. I want to see more humour that appeals to the intellect rather than the lowest common denominator. Enough with bodily functions humour!
Great writing! Ok, you've hooked me, especially after viewing week #3. So when do we get to see the "Nuts and Bolts" of this project? The suspense is killing me and I want to meet some more of those real life hardware store characters.
If Peter Ivaskiv is the only cameraman, he should do a selfie... cause you guys don't do his mug justice. Funny stuff, but he should do a selfie.
Thanks Spencer. It's true, it doesn't do him justice, the pic didn't translate well when it got uploaded. He really is a good looking guy. There's another pic of him in action in last week's optional images. It's a profile, he's got great bone structure.
Like returning from a Comedy desert these teasers cajole me toward quenching my guffaw thirst and wanting more. Canadiana and a new comedic form with paint thinner thrown in for the fume of it?? I'm ready...show me more...pleeeeease. These cliffhangers are hurting my fingers!
